When you peel the tape, use a heat gun or hairdryer before peeling. The heat melts the adhesive glue on the tape and makes it peel off like magic!
I really like your art style and your vids are perfect. Very clear visual, your voice is friendly and inviting and just long enough to catch and keep attention but not drag on and lose it. I really look forward to seeing more videos from you!!

I just love you guy's narration so much. I'm not a native speaker, and there are other things that will probably never allow me to speak like this. But your narration sounds so calming. Most of the artist's have lovely narration.

I hate doing things in order because sometimes I have NO idea of a page and then can't work in the book at all until I finally have one. So now I try doing a page I don't like so much followed by one I really want to do. We'll see how that works out. Acrylic is definitely perfect for these books. Especially when you end up with the inevitable bleedthrough.

Oh yeah that sounds like a good idea to tackle the book that way! My strategy just involves a lot of random brainstorming ahead of time haha

The front cover with the animal crossing style sign for the title is such a good idea !
I like your editing and music choices :3.
How did it feel painting in this book ? I've stopped myself from buying it for years because I'm scared I'll just get very frustrated with the paper warping or the paint seeping through. Your paintings in this video look gorgeous so clearly it worked out for you, I'm just wondering if you felt like you had to "fight" with your paper while painting.

Thank you so much! To answer your question, it feels okay to paint in the book but only if you dont use a lot of water. As you could see, where I use watercolour it basically seeps into the pages and warps them quite a bit but if you were to use acrylic, even if you dilute it with water a little it works great. I never found that it completely destroyed the paper. Gouache does a good job aswell, just watch your water. Definitely dont hold back on buying the book bc of the paper. It can be tricky but theres definitely solutions to cover up bleed through :)
