I heard disabling the opened/closed bonnet sensor could lead to airbags not deploying in an eventual crash. Any info on that, do you know if it's true ?
If the vehicle has a factory security system, that sensor/switch could be linked to it. Therefore, holding the security system off because it's registering that the bonnet is open.

Look for rear lights after doing this bypass, some qashqai the rear lights will be on with that.
To check how good mechanic is he just look at his figures..

@@randommodnar79 it does work for me but car now thinks the hood is opened any help?
Anyone try this out? I have read elsewhere that it is not possible to eliminate it.
