"So he's a good runner as well" lmao this man had no idea what he was getting into
I haven't seen any quarterbacks who have decent runs yet -- haha buckle up man
I'd run too cuz I knew what I was getting into
@@derekhambleton4746 too bad he messed it up by running dog fights which ended his career and the stupid thing is his brother marcus before he got to the nfl would have been an amazing QB as well got busted for dog fighting after his older brother did which ruin his chances to get drafted which sucks twice for the Vick name
@@andrewvidmar3488technically it didn’t end his career because he went on to have good seasons with the eagles
@@trippz_tha_don8323 maybe but he was never mentioned again in the same light again Hurts will be the same way he will have a good season every once in a while but he wont have an amazing season again
His running ability and elusiveness were simply stunning...but his left arm was pure gold. He had a perfect delivery and laser power and precision. His comeback years, especially ‘09-‘10, were just phenomenal. No one expected anything...and for a couple of years, he was better than ever. Amazing.
Rick Kelley to bad Eagles didn't draft skill or trade
The dude had one of the strongest arms ive ever seen. Wasn't very accurate, but when he was it was a thing of beauty. So sad that he got into all that shit, he missed out on his true prime, without injuries and continuing the success he was having I wouldnt be surprised if he was Hall bound. All fucked up by stupid decision making
Glad he has gotten his life back together though. Takes a real man to enact true change.
cannon for an arm
I think he was pretty accurate, he just made a lot of bad decisions.
Yeah, everyone forgets he had an absolute cannon
Answer to 7:17 - It's a touchdown as long as the ball crosses the plane of the goal line. You have to have full possession of the ball also.
Trey Cooper
Unless the player catches the ball in the endzone then they have to make two points of contact inbounds. IE. Two feet
+Jake Burns while maintaining control of the ball. I seen a couple Touchdowns in this reel that wouldn’t be a TD today
Trey Cooper also if you touch the pylon basically at all lol
Vick is a changed man. You can really tell by how he is on fox these days
Just goes to show you how the people around you can influence the decisions you make. Vick is an example of what the American penal system COULD be. Rehabilitation.
"I havent seen any quarterbacks do decent runs yet."
In TO's voice - "Getcha popcorn ready!"
Michael Vick changed the NFL in almost every aspect. He changed how teams recruit qb's and defensive players. Teams scratched Play Books for modern styles to stop him and future Vicks. It's sad that he was involved in dog fighting scandal. We all pave our own path and it's how you end it; I believe in second chances and he did well on the field and off. I wish he didn't get in trouble in his prime, he could have been even greater than he already was.
Eugene Horan i
Eugene Horan Some younger people don't realize how great Vick was. The highlight reels don't do him enough justice. If ever the word playmaker applied to someone, it was Vick.
Randell Cunningham did it first
Rg3 is nothing compared to Vick. Nothing! He is just a product of Vicks success
tyro apache Yep
Just to clarify, the guys who blitz the quarter back are not useally safeties, they are useally defensive linemen or linebackers. Safeties are the the two guys who line up deep, and although they do sometimes blitz or play close to the line against the run they useally defend against the pass
it takes times to learn American football but when Vick runs up the field he does escape the safeties
When the qb breaks a run it is usually the safety's fault if he scores or get 30+ yards, since at least one (usually the FS) of them should be seeing him run before anyone else does. His job becomes stopping a long run from breaking by callouts or tackling them himself.
Linemane don't blitz
Of course they do. Look up Lawrence Taylor, the best blitzing lb of all time. Present day ones include Von Miller and Khalil Mack
JAMES POWNALL depends on the team Steelers blitz safeties a lot mostly free safety.
Youve watched so many players in these past couple of days. Would love to see you make a video on who your favorite player is now.
Not yet, he should do that after this season coming up
SSTWELVE hasnt watched enough to have a favorite, theres so many greats hes yet to hear of
mike LANG im just saying of the ones hes seen so far
i want him to react to Josh Gordon's story after this
How anyone can dislike these videos is beyond me. I love seeing the entertainment you get out of watching these NFL videos. It's nice to see that anyone can appreciate the sport I have loved my whole life no matter what age they are introduced to it. I also love that I get to watch your Rugby videos now that I have found your channel.
I have always loved the idea of rugby, but it has had several failed runs in the US and watching live games over here is hard. It reminds me of Lacrosse. Where I am from in the U.S. lacrosse is huge, but since moving away from home it's hard to get a chance to watch the games. I have always felt like I would be more in to rugby if it were more available to me, and you have proven that.
I love the Respect you have for our beloved game we call "Football". Thank you for letting us relive some of our greatest players! Great job mate!
When he said “I’ve never seen a QB do any good runs yet”, I got chills.. because I knew what he was about to witness.
Its a touchdown if the ball crosses the endzone or if you have two feet down(on a throw)
Juan Bar To clarify: if you are running the ball in, the ball just needs to cross the invisible wall that extends up from the goal line and the pylons. But if you are catching the ball in the endzone, you must get two feet on the ground for it count. In Mike Vick’s case, he was usually a runner so he only needed the ball to cross the line.
You don't have to touch it down like rugby, but you do have to maintain possession until you break the crest of the line.
Also remaining control of the ball throughout the catch.
Brian Dawkins, or we like to call him, Weapon X
yessir
Ahh man that was another one. I remember his entrance, he was an animal. He’s not human
"I haven't seen any quarterbacks who are good runners yet."
Buckle up man.
This comment is Lamarvelous
Vick is simply the best running QB ever.
Steve Young
drizzle yup
Eaglemna Steve young is not a better mobile qb than vick.
Hello Russell Wilson y’all forgot about the great magician. Smh Steve young what era are we in. Y’all must not watch nfl lately , there’s a guy name Russell Wilson and he’s real deal Holyfield #hawks
Cam Newton
If any part of the ball crosses the white line, also called the plane, it’s a touchdown. Nothing to do with the body
CocoaButterQA2 yes but you also have to have control of the ball when it crosses the endzone line. If you loose a fumble through the endzone or onto the orange endzone pylon it is a turnover
ben lose*
The ball only has to break the plane of the front edge of the line while in your control. You don't have to touch the ground nor do you have to break the plane, just the tip of the ball.
Only if he is coming from the field into the end zone, when a player is in the end zone, he has to land both feet inbounds.
Yes that is true, but we were talking about coming from the field of play
Kam chancellor by Joseph Vincent!
Any video by Joseph Vincent is amazing, but I second a Bam Bam video!
Bro u literally need to see Kam Chancellor your videos are great man keep it up!
Joshua Agha Kam is ok he is like Steve Atwater really only good at hitting..and some Zone coverage.
I don't know how your videos showed up in my suggested feed but they're great. Seeing the same excitement watching these great players that I had growing up is really cool. Great videos, man, keep it up.
My husband and I watched him from the time he was in high-school.
He was pure magic.
Ball has to cross the plain which is that white line at he front of the end zone my brutha!
Luke Sanchez the play is dead once the ball crosses the plain if you’re a runner. If you’re catching in the end zone then you have to maintain control of the ball
Luke Sanchez you implied that you had to maintain control after crossing the line as a runner
Also has to be inside the pylon.
Saw Vick a few yrs ago. Literally unbelievable in person
@Caitlin Greenham he's also made a ton of effort to redeem himself since getting out of jail, including donations and promos for the ASPCA. He's paid his debt to society as far as I'm concerned. Pardon the word play, but time to let sleeping dogs lie.
@Caitlin Greenham dogs aren't human beings and you vick was raised around it he didnt truly understand the cruelty and fathom how terrible it was because where he grew up it was all he saw and knew. Maybe get some knowledge on what really happened, go watch the bleacher report documentary learn some facts then come talk bullshit.
React to LaDanian Tomlinsson pleassseee
Hoop Dreams great choice 👍
Yesssss
Hoop Dreams fr bro LT the goat🐐
Seriously, LT all the way baby
That was exactly the one I was gonna suggest
His college career was unbelievable. And his story is amazing! It’s a must watch and research. I’m not joking! It will give you chills. Go dawgs!
Jacob. I absolutely LOVE your vids! Not because I'm an American and you're watching American NFL football vids. It's your passion and energy for high caliber athletes that bursts through in your vids. You're attitude is positive and infectious. The sports world needs more like you, mate. Regarding Michael Vick, his speed and elusiveness as a running QB was brilliant. He was a game changer in that respect. BUT, HIS ARM STRENGTH was super human. When he wanted it, the speed of his passes were bullet like. A pure, left handed FREAK! Every bit as impressive as a pro baseball pitcher who lights up the radar gun at 100 miles per hour consistently.
Watch kam chancellor omg hes so good
I literally just 15 minutes ago saw that Micheal Vick comment and here’s the video
The difference between Vick and other running qbs was that he was always thinking about throwing it first and only used running as a last recourse. While these running qbs are always quick to run when they panic but not this man. He stayed cool and used only when it was needed and just killed it.
You're videos are so popular because of two things I'd have to guess. One, for American NFL fans, we're watching you discover the thing that's made us so excited since we were young kids. This stuff is amazing to us, but almost taken for granted because we did watch guys like Vick do it for 13 years. But you're reaction is like watching a memory of our initial reactions all those years ago. Secondly, NFL curious newcomers from around the world completely relate to you and are loving the one stop shop you've started to see some of the most amazing moments to ever happen in the NFL.
These are the most genuine videos on RUclips. I want to have a beer with this guy.
If you would like to better understand the rules of American football, Ninh Ly made an extremely helpful video on youtube titled "The Rules of American Football - EXPLAINED! (NFL)" in which he explains very well the rules of football. Its only about 6 and a half minutes and has around 730k views and I feel like you would better enjoy some of these highlights if you had a better understanding of the game. Im loving your videos and I've even started to enjoy watching rugby because of you and I feel like watching this video would be very helpful for you.
That was a good intro video for novices to football.
React to Saquon Barkley or James Harrison mate please.🙏🙏
Second Harrison. React to his workout videos lol
Third Harrison work out vids and most feared
adel mattia Wajid i would like to see a Barkley reaction
Fourth James Harrison
Saquon say goooone!!!💨
The reason he’s sliding and going out of bounds is because you typically don’t want your quarterback taking any contact
and if they come close to fumbling the ball goes out of bounds
Seeing your reaction to Micheal Vick's escapes I think you would enjoy watching highlights of Barry Sanders, he played for a bad team with no blockers and was still an amazing runner, nobody could change direction and go right back to full speed the way he did.
I saw him torch the Panthers defense in '03, the year we almost beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl (overtime). It was crazy to watch. Monday Night Football with the camera above him following his runs, he was unstoppable, juking the whole defense every other play. I'll never forget that game, dude was electric.
Only seen a few of these but I love how you go from not knowing much to you actually seem to know what’s going on now. Are you going to follow the upcoming season and if so what team will you be rooting for?
You should react to Lamar Jackson college highlights!!
Grayson Leal exactly "5 times better" than vick
Josiah Gilbert damn right I am but Vick is a Legend himself
Lamar Jackson lol Lamar you gonna start over flacco or what
Lamar Jackson if he focuses he will be the greatest qb of all time
He has been compared to Michael Vick with his running ability.
To get a TD the ball needs to break across the white line in the end zone, in someone's possession
I like how you ask questions in your videos as if we can answer you. 😆 priceless
Love the videos!! To clarify something mate, the only thing you need over the line and inside the orange pylons is the ball. If you have possession and it’s over the line, it’s a touchdown. That’s why you see Vick closing in on the corner and dive with his arm in bounds but his whole body outside, but the ball crosses.
He was a legend without a doubt.
React to Le'veon Bell or Todd Gurley amazing RBs
Mtthew 123 right?
Mtthew 123 earl Campbell lol
99 til infinity
also, watch Lesean Mccoy highlights. he's the most elusive RB in then
NFL currently
Samuel Attebery statistically Dieon Lewis was the most elusive RB
Zach Barber thats because lewis didnt have anywhere near the amount of carries that mccoy had
no way
Leveon Bell
Lawrence taylor. Best defensive player ever.
Also....Brandon Jacobs (running back). Sean taylor(safety). Ed reed(safety). Demarcus ware(outside linebacker/defensive end). Barry sanders(running back). Reggie bush southern cal highlights are littttttt too.
You spelled Reggie white wrong
true...qb's feared him,but it may have been the coke.
I am sure this was answered, when your a runner, all that needs to happen is the tip of the ball gets to the goal line "White part" this includes hitting the pylon. Now, when your a receiver, your have to maintain control of the ball throughout your catch. 2 feet, 1 foot, and elbow, 1 knee, any of that could be considered a touchdown if you maintain control of the ball..Vick just seemed to flick his wrist and the ball would go 60 yards. I am glad i found your channel. its nice to see somebody who never played US Football to get into it this much..Good on ya, Mate.
To score a touchdown: The ball must "cross the plain of the goal line". You will see many players reaching the ball across the white end line or touching the orange pylon (a.k.a. tall, rectangular vinyl-sheathed foam marker at either end of the end line). This line extends infinitely upward into the cosmos. Glad you enjoying some american-style football. Btw, thanks for suggesting the Canterbury Crusaders- I've been enjoying that!
If you like seeing those hard steps, you should watch Lesean McCoy highlights if you haven’t yet!
shady mccoy is trash
Hail Odin based on what?
he may be trash to you, but he'll still break your ankles and make look silly any day. lmao.
Alvin kamara slippery highlight
YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE MIRACLE IN THE MEADOWLANDS 2
wow, Dante Hall??? Now that's an Aussie that knows quite a bit of Professional American Football...I salute you from Southern California bro
These types of videos COULD be extremely boring. You do a great job of making it interesting even for a lifetime football fan, to hear the perspective of somebody new to the sport. Great idea for a channel (just found ya), and love your enthusiasm! You genuinely seem interested and entertained. Keep it up
Deion "Prime Time" Sanders
You should check out Calvin Johnson aka “Megatron”
React to russel wilson
Michael Vick was my all time favorite player I had his Virginia tech jersey signed ! Still have it in a frame in my man cave ! He’s the BEST running QB in the history
The Vick “Flick” on top of the speed is what made I’m special. One of the best deep balls you’ll ever see coming at 100 miles per hour. Also he went to jail before going to the Eagles, the green team, then continued his career. They actually have a bleacher report documentary of him that I would recommend if you have real interest in him.
You look like joseph seed from far cry 5 😂
Flythepotato bruz
Damn Peggy
😂😂😂let the church say amen
Oh shit...
Flythepotato brooooo I was just thinkin tht, he does tho dosent he
Barry Sanders top 3 greatest running backs ever. If he wouldn’t have retired early he would hold the record for most rushing yards not Emmit Smith. Most elusive back ever. If he had a better team/ Offensive line his stats would have been astronomical.
IF he had the line that Emmitt Smith had in Dallas, the rushing record would be unreachable. Like many of Jerry Rice's records
It is all about the offensive line.
He already did a Barry Sanders video
Dawson Damer
Yea I looked to see if he had one and missed it. I’ve since watched it.
The ball has to cross the plane no matter where your body is as long as the ball crosses the line
...and you don't step into touch, (physically touch any part of your body outside the bounds,) before you break the plane of the goal line with the ball. You can even touch the pylon, (as is also the case in rugby,) as it is considered part of the goal line.
MKE SNEAKS bro he doesn't have a full body of work yet a few more years first lol
Cam Newton . . .
More combined touchdowns (running/passing) in his first 5 years than any other player in history, other than Peyton Manning. Also, broke career rushing TD record in 6 years, which the previous holder took 13 to accomplish.
7:34 so for a touchdown, it's not just any part of your body. while maintaining complete possession of the ball and without stepping out of bounds prior to getting into the endzone, any part of the ball must be over the line (ball doesn't have to touch the ground) or touch the pylon (bright orange thingy). the thick white line is out of bounds. hope this helps
As long as the ball crosses the goal line it's a touchdown. Really as soon as the nose of the ball breaks the plane of the end zone it's a touchdown.
React to Brian Dawkins
He is one of the best defensive players ever
This is a player you absolutely have to watch a video on. One of the best ever, just recently inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Gunner Billings yes he needs Weapon X in his life man
Absolutely!
Vick was a RB at QB that could throw too
7:30 the goal line is the skinny white line at the start of the end zone, if any part of the ball crosses the line it’s a TD, it’s called “breaking the plane”, so if you put a wall up 90 degrees from the goal line, any part of the ball touching it is a TD. And the wide white line is the boundary, touching it= out of bounds and play over
It was definitely a pleasure to have Vick in Philly when we did. Fly Eagles Fly!
Do Joseph Vincent videos they are the best
nfl life is the best to watch reactions to
Ryan Zeigler yup
Ryan Zeigler those are to cinematic. I like highlights not movies
You need to do a video on Deion Sanders. Neon Deion
StarNBars94 Man... now that would be entertaining.
Absolutely he should
I agree. Flying deion
React to Ray Lewis
BadgerIsASavage LEGEND! Greatest linebacker of all time! Although I think he would enjoy Ed Reed a little more.
jhawkk2004 yea he probably would, but i would still like to see it
Ray Lewis is the GOAT
React to Ray Lewis he is a beast
I'm from the U.S. You've done a nice job on this one bro!
Was freshman at VT and got to see his whole college career....AMAZING!!!
React to Cam Newton, he is a very great rushing quarterback for the Carolina Panthers #1
React to Odell Beckham Jr.- OBJ
over rated
U should watch ray Lewis
Sean Hillery THIS!!!!
He already did
Nvm that was todays video
Do Brian Dawkins! He was a legendary safety for the Eagles and one of the biggest hitters I've ever witnessed
My dad actually watched over Vick while he was in Federal Prison. He said he came in one man, and came out a completely different one. So props to him for seeing his errors and fixing them. Some people really do deserve a second chance.
i know ive said this before but plz Walter Payton or earl Campbell
Watch lamar Jackson college highlights
When no one reacts to him throwing a 52 yard bomb on the run😑
Saw Vick in college a couple of times. He moved at a different speed than everyone else on the field. He completed dominated the games.
I love how he talks about the crowds while in America we don’t think twice cause Football is everything especially in the south we’re I’m from.
philadelphia eagles randall cunningham, enough said
jeebiss jeebiss He was incredible.
gotta get rugby dude, to go old school with randall
React to tyreek hill highlights
Second this. Fastest player in the league ✌
him or christian okoye. two of the best chiefs players
Deshawn Watson rookie highlights
Vick's ability to throw the deep ball while rolling out is still one of the best the league has ever seen.
I enjoy your vids. Glad I found these.
lesean mccoy is the human joystick react to him!
Dante Hall would like to have a word with you about.
Watch Kam chancellor.
Ray Lewis bro
Howard Roark yes 1000%
Howard Roark he did one already it's a great vid
White line is the goal line. All you have to do is get the ball to cross the line while its in your hands and its a touchdown. The orange stick indicating the line is called a pylon. if you are falling out of bounds and hit it before you land out it is considered a touchdown. Love your videos man
btw watch Desean Jackson highlights. Dudes a freak. So many long runs. Hes the one that catches that bomb pass from Vick when he first gets to the Eagles after prison.
Can you please look up Earl Campbell.... can you say mac truck
Truly one of the toughest to ever do it
That Kat was incredible...
Randy moss
Christopher Harris he's done that
React to leveon Bell by smash videos it’s from row years ago though. He played on the same team as Troy Polamalu and he can juke or stick as u call it
Two*
not sure if anyone answered the touchdown question but... if the ball breaks the front white line of the endzone and is within the boundaries (the orange pylon) then it is a touchdown. That's the basic rule.
Vick was the most dangerous player I have ever seen in my life.. he's there then he's gone.. the guy was magic
Joe Montana
Jarhead Playz GOAT
Lamar Jackson
React to Cam Newton
dustin Overmyer yes
1 season wonder. trash since
touchdowns require that the ball carrier breaks the plane of the end zone with the ball. If the ball is over or touches the orange posts, its a touch down. A catch in the endzone requires the receiver has control of the ball and is down (shoulder, knee or butt contacts ground inbounds) or gets both feet down inbounds.
A touchdown occurs when any part of the ball crosses the white goal line as soon as the ball makes contact with said line and so long as the ball is possessed by the active player. Active player means not tackled. Doesn't matter if the ball is on the ground or in the air, the play is live until touchdown or ruled down/out of bounds. That possession clause can create some confusion, especially on pass plays for touchdowns which is why you see so many of those replayed.
On Vick not getting as many running TDs as you might expect, teams only keep a couple of quarterbacks on the roster and usually only 2 that are of quality, as such, quarterbacks will go to the ground on purpose more often on runs to ensure they do not get injured. Rules protect QBs in the passing action but once they run, they can be hit in any legal way like a running back. Defenses key on this and if they can get to a QBs arm while running, they can get him out of the game. Yes, defenses active intend to injure running QBs due to their value to the team.
In terms of running QBs, Vick was tops. Cordell Stewart (Pittsburgh) was sort of a prototype for Vick in that the playbook was designed to specifically feature his running ability as a significant percent of the plays. Plenty of running QBs in history, but they were pass first, then run to get out of trouble or extend time to pass. Steve Young (San Francisco) was an god running QB, but athletically had an ugly running style. Generally, running QBs do not last long and defenses have sort of figured out those type of offensive schemes by getting faster and lighter players over the years.
