Thank you, dear Rabbi… never miss any of your shiurim… this time, a question though: for me as a Noahide, a goy; am I supposed to study the Torah as well? Am I even allowed to study the Torah? And, if not, what should I as a Noahide do, apart from assisting the Jew in doing the Tikkun? Hope you can help me and other noahides in clarifying this. Shalom!
noahideworldcenter.org/ Noahides (Non Jews who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as it is written in the Torah), have to do their own Tikun (Correction) by working on their spiritual journey and getting closer to God. Their guidelines can be found in the parts of the Torah that relate to the Seven Noahide Laws. This is what they should focus on. All the studying that relates to faith and doing good is included.
i hope whoever was at the end of this conversation, complaining about ingrates in their life, sees the act as an open gesture that lacks love, and most probably should they realise their thoughts are probably a reflection of their soul, and blinded to the simplicities, That all relational transactions are mutual, not one-sided. Seems Saul, you speak of a narcisstic being ,We , in our right mind, kill off or divorce ourselves from whoever does nt keep us holy, but often when this is the rebuke before the rupture of a relationship, the offender beats you to the punch, and smears you in their world that gets smaller. if your friends are selling and promoting books on shabbat, while they are in despair of how little money they have made with biblical teachings, they might meditate on why that is... it s a no brainer, but the rebuke goes unnoticed, and taken as an attack, rather than constructivism Double mindness may not be part of the conscious teachings but are the actions, and unconscious teachings of such people. i think there s more to why an individual reacts the way one does. Very few are narcisstic and are able to love their neighbor, without expectations. who fights? is not the question.. what do you fight for .... is . That was the most intriguing monologue you ve ever produced. I thought id feedback from the other(the neighbor) s perspective. Thanks Rabbi. Kol Tov`
The Jew is ONE. If we believe in the ONE Jew we believe in Torah. The Jew is Torah. He is our love. May we believe in Him in us. We are her. We are married to God. We are ONE. If we are ONE, we are Torah. Every word is His. May we believe in Him in our self 🙏🙏🙏 May we see Him in our image. 🙏🙏🙏 God is with us. I am not Jewish but I always believed in the Jew. It is how I found my self 💕💗👋
The "Dibrot," and by extension the Torah, have long been considered the "conscience" of the Western world (heck one fascist madman who doesn't deserve any respect, Y.S., believed this conscience as a reason for murdering millions!). So it is good to really absorb these lessons, especially "Torah on One Foot." And what better philosophy is there? Well, that and chocolate can make any moment better. Anyways, great shiur Rav! Mahalo shalom! 🙏✡️🌺
Yes. It is in the lesson. It is written תהיו this is Hebrew for "You will be" meaning, a promise. While if it was a command, it should have been היו, meaning: "You should be".
It is good to thing to know that we will be holy that it is a promised not a command. Thank you for shedding this emet, Rabbi so awesome!

Does holiness exist in our day and age?
Yes, holiness is our calling. Our inner thirst for holiness pushes for the search for fulfillment

Question. So how is קדושים תהיו a promise instead of a commandment? Did you answer that and i missed it?
Yes. It is in the lesson. It is written תהיו this is Hebrew for "You will be" meaning, a promise. While if it was a command, it should have been היו, meaning: "You should be".
