Sramay That’s not really a religious way of life necessarily. Live and let live is also literally an economic movement with a website or organization pushing that. It’s basically the idea behind anarchy or ancaps or anarcho capitalists. It’s a way of life not necessarily a religious belief. But I can understand how some may say that’s a religious belief or morphs with the core of some religions. But like Christianity for instance is totally against the live and let live mantra. Tons of Christian’s believe the U.S. must rule with an iron fist. Tons of politicians from mitt Romney etc vote with their conscience they claim but vote way against live and let live. My family have been Kabbalists for over 500 years, since before we were expelled from Spain during the Inquisition. My father studied and taught Kabbalah for the last 35 years of his life. I am grateful that I inherited his library and writings.

You're all great folk! Handsome and wise. I'm very thankful for the Work you all do to help bring together in your community of creators a grounded, academic, respectful, thorough and nuanced approach to education on religion, philosophy and esotericism. It is very much needed especially on RUclips. When I was a teen (a little more than over a decade ago) the information one would find on these subjects was dangerously biased and misleading. One video that was very popular was simply a straight up indoctrination video from a cult and it had millions of views. Growing up with that messed me up but also hardened me as I've become much better at recognizing who has done good faith research on a topic and who isn't simply trying to spread their own ideas rather than analyze the vast array of perspectives throughout history. Your group of friends and co-creators are certainly the former and not the latter!

Don't get lured into relative truth. There are many schools of Kabbalah depending on the enlightened sage. I would read it with a grain of salt. It's simply an oral Tradition.

Loved the video! if i may, i would like to sugest a theme i belive you would love to look into and maybe give us your perspectives on. As a brazilian, it is very common for us to hear about the "terreiros", originally - and still, bu not only - the places of worship created by the enslaved people in the diaspora, but, afterwards, also the places where "samba" came to be. While samba came in popular taste, the brazilian religions of african matrix are still persecuted by the christian majority of our country, even if it dictates some of our most common traditions, like wearing white (or other colors, each with a meaning of a desire) and jumping 7 waves in new year - a ritual for Yemanja, the yoruba goddess of the seas (rivers, originally), not to talk about the food we eat and the music we listen to. Music and dance is a big part of those religions (also cooking, eating and drinking), for the rituals are celebrated as a happy gathering to recive the entities. A big part of this religions is about music, wich is a central part of the cult (the music, called "pontos", played and singed by the "ogãs", that calls the "orixas", the gods or spirits of nature), and a big chunk of brazilian music have strong influences from this african rythms, intrinsecly related with these religions. If you want to get a taste, i reccomend the Afro Sambas, by Baden Powell - ruclips.net/video/IxM04Y4XSFs/видео.html - a samba, as the name says it, with a lot of bossa nova influence (i feel you'll really dig this one); or Ponto de Nanã, by Mariene de Castro - ruclips.net/video/CWSG_zKRCKw/видео.html - wich is a "ponto" played in a more traditional ijexá style. There is also the syncretic aspect of the religion - enslaved people used to disguise their worship identifilying their gods with catholic saints - wich became an actual faith and created an incredible enviroment of tolerance with diverse perspectives, described as reminiscent of the late roman empire, by Umberto Eco. I find it a really fascinating theme and i feel like it would interest you as well. If you would like to take a look into it, there are some religions like candomble and umbanda (the most widespreaded), the first one was deeply studied by french antropologist Pierre Verger, but there is a lot of studies done about it! The fact that "Cruel Angel's Thesis" was not in the intro is a missed opportunity in my mind. The popular phrase: "God is in his kingdom, all is right with the world" stands directly opposed to the general stance of Calvinism and related principles in Christianity which assert the world to be fallen. Via Paul, most of Christianity has adopted the curious belief that the Earth is either somehow not part of God's kingdom or is some kind of diabolical experiment. In a more literal sense, some denominations believe this to be hell and the devil is not just manifest temptation/sin/anti-divine, but takes on the role of a sort of demiurge of gnosticism. I was always really fun at sunday school as I somehow both tend to 'be christian' and yet reject damn near everything taught, refocusing it through a different lens. Without an understanding of mysticism and the beliefs of the era, most of the biblical scripture cannot be understood. Consider Matthew 6 - more specifically verse 25 through the end, though the whole chapter works this way. Christians often use this in a broken and distorted form, removing verse 33 from the context and using it to refer to Paul's doctrine of an otherworldly kingdom of God - seek the afterlife and all will be good. However, the immediate statement before is "the gentiles seek these things and your heavenly father knows you need them all" - referencing, prior, the sparrow and other aspects of nature. The gentiles were non-jews, who were debatably seen as fellow humans from the perspective of israelites, but certainly in a state of idol worship. Jesus is saying "look, God obviously provides for people who don't worship him just as he provides for the sparrow." He then uses the phrase "Seek, first, the Kingdom..." this is a play on the notion of Ketter is in Malkuth. God is with his bride - to seek God, look for him in his kingdom. My fellow christians are trapped in a death cult which has convinced them god is not here and awaits them beyond. It's even in the lord's prayer... "on Earth as it is in Heaven" as above, so below. It's saying "god, who is in heaven, help me handle all this stuff I deal with on earth, so that the below can be as above." It's all fun and games in christianity until you start calling paul a heretic and cite the gospels against his fool scribbling preceding end times prophecy about everyone worshipping the devil. Everyone thinks they'll be the exception and it's long in the future because the church acts as vanguard against the antichrist. Sweet in the mouth and bitter/sour in the stomach, indeed.

I do like that Kabbalah has taught me that the Shekinah is Bride of the Sabbath and look at what we see at Christ's Transfiguration, the Bride wraps the Lord of the Sabbath in Her Light which is the Shekinah Glory.

Shekinah the divine feminine sounds very much like Shakti/Prakriti in Hinduism, the more eminent (and feminine) aspect of the Divine while the Purusha/Shiva is the more detached transcendental perfected aspect which is more "absorbed in its own delight". It's crazy how much the mystical traditions of a lot of religions (or in the case of Islam, Sufism) sound so similar when the exoteric parts are so different or even opposed to each other. Soul being a part of God and getting rid of the ego to unite with the Divine also sounds very much like Hindu thought. That is essentially Moksha. Also seeing every thing as God's work and so essentially divine is very familiar.
Actually, there is a passage in the Zohar that some interpret as saying that the Kabbalistic Ideas that are believed to have been known to Abraham (C. 1500 BCE) influenced the authors of the Upanishads. @@ignacelakra6777
These "visions" are all inner visions that advanced practitioners would experience inside during meditation. These are all practical methods and not beliefs. You can observe basically the same method in every culture. This is "Die while living" or Surat Shabad Yoga. You need a Perfect Master, who initiates into this path. Then you have to progress within by withdrawing attention from the outer faculties and concentrating all your attention on the third eye. Once you get there you can see the Radiant Form of your Master and you can talk with him like you would talk here in the Physical world. Your Master then drives you through the Higher Planes and drives you back to your Eternal Home. This is the most fascinating journey, the only real journey. All of these "visions" describe this very journey.
Rabbi Abraham Abulafia describes this exactly. I’ve pretty much left all externalized religious observance for the inner journey as it’s the only thing relevant anymore.

Many Jewish communities around the world, usually ones that are considered more Orthodox and traditional, practice and study Jewish mysticism in this way or another. Most notably, the wide array of Hasidic communities, and other, mostly ultra-orthodox groups, where Lurianic Kabbalah is very prominent in their practice. These traditions are very influential on many ideas in modern-day Jewish renewal movements as well.

I'd like to see a video on Celtic Christianity as it was one of the many ethnic forms of the Christian faith and often correlated with that of the celtic languages (i.e. Britonnic and Goidelic) which resided throughout modern-day England, Wales, Cornwall, Scotland and Ireland!
What out for Anglo-Saxon mysticism. It gets into Druids. Also look at Freemasonry which is based upon Egyptian gods and goddesses.

Love is a good place to start. My favorite Rumi is: "Out beyond all rightdoing and wrongdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.". That Field is God.

The cap was so beautiful that Baal Shem's mother said, "I don't want anything in return, just to see you in this cap is so beautiful. I am tremendously gratified. You are not obliged to me, I am obliged to you. Thank you, rabbi."
"And my mother went away. That's how she became pregnant," Baal Shem said, "and I was born."
The woman said, "Great. So tomorrow I will come with a beautiful cap."
The next day she returned with a very beautiful cap. Baal Shem accepted and did not even say "Thank you." The woman waited and waited, then she said, "What about the child?"
Baal Shem said, "Forget all about the child! The cap is so beautiful, I am obliged to you. I must say thank you to you. Do you remember the story I told you? The woman did not ask anything in return, that's why she conceived a child, and a child like me" - like Baal Shem.
"But you have come with the desire to get something. Just because of this cap do you want a child like Baal Shem? Forget all about it," he said, "and don't come again - ever."
There are many things that can be said only through stories. Baal Shem has said the fundamental:
Do not ask and it shall be given. Do not ask - that is the basic condition.
The Hassidism that arose out of Baal Shem's stories is the most beautiful flowering that has ever happened. Jews have done nothing comparable to Hassidism. Hassidism is a small current, but is still alive, still flowing."

His is academic theory which is good however only one side of the coin. When one reads with the other it sounds more like Max Heindel, Steiner and others.

You're all great folk! Handsome and wise. I'm very thankful for the Work you all do to help bring together in your community of creators a grounded, academic, respectful, thorough and nuanced approach to education on religion, philosophy and esotericism. It is very much needed especially on RUclips. When I was a teen (a little more than over a decade ago) the information one would find on these subjects was dangerously biased and misleading. One video that was very popular was simply a straight up indoctrination video from a cult and it had millions of views. Growing up with that messed me up but also hardened me as I've become much better at recognizing who has done good faith research on a topic and who isn't simply trying to spread their own ideas rather than analyze the vast array of perspectives throughout history. Your group of friends and co-creators are certainly the former and not the latter!

Don't get lured into relative truth. There are many schools of Kabbalah depending on the enlightened sage. I would read it with a grain of salt. It's simply an oral Tradition.

if i may, i would like to sugest a theme i belive you would love to look into and maybe give us your perspectives on.
As a brazilian, it is very common for us to hear about the "terreiros", originally - and still, bu not only - the places of worship created by the enslaved people in the diaspora, but, afterwards, also the places where "samba" came to be. While samba came in popular taste, the brazilian religions of african matrix are still persecuted by the christian majority of our country, even if it dictates some of our most common traditions, like wearing white (or other colors, each with a meaning of a desire) and jumping 7 waves in new year - a ritual for Yemanja, the yoruba goddess of the seas (rivers, originally), not to talk about the food we eat and the music we listen to.
Music and dance is a big part of those religions (also cooking, eating and drinking), for the rituals are celebrated as a happy gathering to recive the entities. A big part of this religions is about music, wich is a central part of the cult (the music, called "pontos", played and singed by the "ogãs", that calls the "orixas", the gods or spirits of nature), and a big chunk of brazilian music have strong influences from this african rythms, intrinsecly related with these religions. If you want to get a taste, i reccomend the Afro Sambas, by Baden Powell - ruclips.net/video/IxM04Y4XSFs/видео.html - a samba, as the name says it, with a lot of bossa nova influence (i feel you'll really dig this one); or Ponto de Nanã, by Mariene de Castro - ruclips.net/video/CWSG_zKRCKw/видео.html - wich is a "ponto" played in a more traditional ijexá style.
There is also the syncretic aspect of the religion - enslaved people used to disguise their worship identifilying their gods with catholic saints - wich became an actual faith and created an incredible enviroment of tolerance with diverse perspectives, described as reminiscent of the late roman empire, by Umberto Eco.
I find it a really fascinating theme and i feel like it would interest you as well. If you would like to take a look into it, there are some religions like candomble and umbanda (the most widespreaded), the first one was deeply studied by french antropologist Pierre Verger, but there is a lot of studies done about it! The only objective channel I can - so far - trust in explaining such controversial topics. When I say controversial, I mean in the Islamic-Arab world, which is by default not very welcoming of kabbalah and Jewish mysticism in general.

I read a good book on Maraaba, and the heck a lot mystics in Judaism. The original thumbnail that you gave of the Mystic milking malkuth is the supreme secret given. He’s a guy looking like his milking, a cow and his milking Malkuth! All the way from the top right? I am that I am has sent you. That’s the top.
The fact that "Cruel Angel's Thesis" was not in the intro is a missed opportunity in my mind.
The popular phrase: "God is in his kingdom, all is right with the world" stands directly opposed to the general stance of Calvinism and related principles in Christianity which assert the world to be fallen. Via Paul, most of Christianity has adopted the curious belief that the Earth is either somehow not part of God's kingdom or is some kind of diabolical experiment. In a more literal sense, some denominations believe this to be hell and the devil is not just manifest temptation/sin/anti-divine, but takes on the role of a sort of demiurge of gnosticism.
I was always really fun at sunday school as I somehow both tend to 'be christian' and yet reject damn near everything taught, refocusing it through a different lens. Without an understanding of mysticism and the beliefs of the era, most of the biblical scripture cannot be understood.
Consider Matthew 6 - more specifically verse 25 through the end, though the whole chapter works this way.
Christians often use this in a broken and distorted form, removing verse 33 from the context and using it to refer to Paul's doctrine of an otherworldly kingdom of God - seek the afterlife and all will be good.
However, the immediate statement before is "the gentiles seek these things and your heavenly father knows you need them all" - referencing, prior, the sparrow and other aspects of nature. The gentiles were non-jews, who were debatably seen as fellow humans from the perspective of israelites, but certainly in a state of idol worship. Jesus is saying "look, God obviously provides for people who don't worship him just as he provides for the sparrow." He then uses the phrase "Seek, first, the Kingdom..." this is a play on the notion of Ketter is in Malkuth. God is with his bride - to seek God, look for him in his kingdom.
My fellow christians are trapped in a death cult which has convinced them god is not here and awaits them beyond.
It's even in the lord's prayer... "on Earth as it is in Heaven" as above, so below. It's saying "god, who is in heaven, help me handle all this stuff I deal with on earth, so that the below can be as above."
It's all fun and games in christianity until you start calling paul a heretic and cite the gospels against his fool scribbling preceding end times prophecy about everyone worshipping the devil. Everyone thinks they'll be the exception and it's long in the future because the church acts as vanguard against the antichrist.

I do like that Kabbalah has taught me that the Shekinah is Bride of the Sabbath and look at what we see at Christ's Transfiguration, the Bride wraps the Lord of the Sabbath in Her Light which is the Shekinah Glory.

Shekinah the divine feminine sounds very much like Shakti/Prakriti in Hinduism, the more eminent (and feminine) aspect of the Divine while the Purusha/Shiva is the more detached transcendental perfected aspect which is more "absorbed in its own delight".
It's crazy how much the mystical traditions of a lot of religions (or in the case of Islam, Sufism) sound so similar when the exoteric parts are so different or even opposed to each other.
Soul being a part of God and getting rid of the ego to unite with the Divine also sounds very much like Hindu thought. That is essentially Moksha. Also seeing every thing as God's work and so essentially divine is very familiar.

Actually, there is a passage in the Zohar that some interpret as saying that the Kabbalistic Ideas that are believed to have been known to Abraham (C. 1500 BCE) influenced the authors of the Upanishads. @@ignacelakra6777
These "visions" are all inner visions that advanced practitioners would experience inside during meditation. These are all practical methods and not beliefs. You can observe basically the same method in every culture. This is "Die while living" or Surat Shabad Yoga. You need a Perfect Master, who initiates into this path. Then you have to progress within by withdrawing attention from the outer faculties and concentrating all your attention on the third eye. Once you get there you can see the Radiant Form of your Master and you can talk with him like you would talk here in the Physical world. Your Master then drives you through the Higher Planes and drives you back to your Eternal Home. This is the most fascinating journey, the only real journey. All of these "visions" describe this very journey.
Rabbi Abraham Abulafia describes this exactly. I’ve pretty much left all externalized religious observance for the inner journey as it’s the only thing relevant anymore.

Many Jewish communities around the world, usually ones that are considered more Orthodox and traditional, practice and study Jewish mysticism in this way or another. Most notably, the wide array of Hasidic communities, and other, mostly ultra-orthodox groups, where Lurianic Kabbalah is very prominent in their practice.
These traditions are very influential on many ideas in modern-day Jewish renewal movements as well.
