Any suggestions about what to do with the ends one is scalloped and the beginning one is straight? I think this is a bit much for beginners because of the difficulty in keeping the tension correct between chain three and double crochet. It would’ve been nice to see you do a couple more rows. Thank you so much.

Doing this wth Bernat Blanket for a quick scarf and it's working up REALLY fast, a little awkward on the end, only 4 loops across to work in, sometimes i go too far. Not as relaxing with this yarn, and a size 9mm hook but im going to make more of these with some self striping yarn. Nice to have something not as dense as other stitches.
