Wow everything is so grown up since I lived there. I use to manage Cafe Roma and work at Caneel Bay. The place to go at night on Friday and Saturday was Fred's. He would have a local band. Wondering if it's still there or if Fred is still alive. Loved St John and St Thomas. Lived there between 1974 and 2008. 🌴❤️
Yes, I also remember Fred’s. I went there for many of parties and reggae music. I don’t know if he still alive? I generally just go to St. John on my days off. My first year there was 1985. Thanks for watching.
During the 1980s going there on Saturdays from STT as a tween and teen because my dad owned the St. John Pub, it used to feel like a place where real pirates would frequent. I remember eating so many lunches in The Backyard, a real pirate hangout!
