Gon (SNES) speedrun -

Got in all the new strats I wanted for this run. Turns out that running backwards in the Mode 7 segments in Levels 1, 3, and 4 do work. I find it's more consistent than simply chasing the animals. Headbutts do wonders on the bobcat when it cooperates. Level 4 probably had the most mistakes, but it's finicky anyway, especially on the last screen before the chase sequence. Level 5 had the new snake boss setup, makes the fight more consistent. Don't know what I did in Level 6, but hey. Level 7 can troll hard with the 7 mode 7 sequences. I'm just glad I didn't game over there. T-Rex trolled me, but I can't have everything work out right, especially after my previous PB. On the whole, I'm happy with this run and ready to move on.
