I like how each level in this campaign has a different theme- Corsair Brotherhood - humans Monkey Island - primates Sharkpool Reef - sharks Skullwreck Bay - undead Treasure Island - all 4 of the previously mentioned groups
This DLC has showcased to me how incredibly useless Soul Impact is as a last resort type move. It is utter garbage. They seriously need to rework that piece of trash.

Most of the content was even better than I expected. My only problem was that Captain Blackthorne was underwhelming compared to bosses like the Deep King and Macaque. It could've been way better if the ship had provided the captains with air support in the final level by blasting away at the player's troops instead of just spawning enemies
I appreciate that the shark mages use the same staff as the blacksurges from the deep devils without the annoying shell mechanic. Although it makes you wonder how they acquired those since the deep devils are on veznan’s side in this game, maybe it’s just the simple answer that they’re pirates and stole it. Overall very fond of this campaign. I’d say it’s the best vengeance has to offer. I only had trouble with the shark level, as the boss ended up eating most of my towers very quickly.
Just finished the dlc today. It was way better than hammer hold and the best vengeance has to offer. The tower is pretty awesome but the hero is the gem for me. She is not as op as the dragons but she is really fun to play with while still being impressive strong. Also the final level was amazing, something new and definitely worth buying

@@MrVanajaistOr just make it a utility one instead! We got too many strong hero spells. So make the stuns and slows longer would be nice!

Love the silhouette sets at the 2nd stage (can see at the corner screen), like the pov in the deep jungle
KR veteran here. Treasure Island is the hardest stage I‘ve ever played in any game of the series.
Stages like Pandaemonium, Castle Blackburn, Emberspike Depths I consider to be harder, but it's definitely on the higher end of the difficulty scale
But deep down we all know that the hardest level is Twin river pass😂@@alexplayzKR

I'm kinda sad they didn't implement the Musket Pirate as I was hoping to see all unique enemies that we used to fought alongside with.
They did in a way, since the bomb dropping parrots were an upgrade to that map exclusive tower.

Extremely good in my opinion. Every level has kick ass mechanics and is the difficulty og fans always wanted.

The new hero is not overpowered. Wish they make her basic attack area splash. Dragon definitely better
