Bob Bailey is / was the best Johnny Dollar. I wish radio could somehow bring back mystery and detective shows. But I know it can never be. I enjoy these so much Johnny Dollar Richard Diamond Suspense The Whistler and the 70’s had CBSRMT these are all great. I go to bed every night to these, what it like to call “theater of the mind “. Any way thankfully we have you tube to keep the stories alive. Thanks for reading my comment.

I "It doesn't make any difference now", which means it never made any difference in the first place.... Definitely a statement worth thinking about....
Bob Bailey was Johnny Dollar. The ones before him and the one after him just didn't fit. The company that moved the production to New York made a big mistake. He stayed in California and the show didn't really last after the move.
"Mr. Dollar, I'm terribly afraid -- " "Oh, please don't be." The script writers always slip in a sly double entendre whenever Johnny talks to an effeminate character. Hmm...
So each full episode is made up of roughly 4 15 minute segments… why not edit down the running time of each segments bumper music? By doing so , the stories can be more readily enjoyed without the intermittent interruptions of the lead in and lead out Orchestra music.

Funny how helpless women were but then they show their true colors 🤣,
What's with the end of your recordings? why does it skip all over the place?

It usually comes after Part 4, but if you need an exact location: 59:05.
