The threat indicator, at the top center, also acts as a wave countdown timer. The colors and arrows denotes how much time you have before a wave, within a maximum time of between 4.5 -5.5 minutes. When the threat indicator is flashing red with a total of six arrows, it means you have a minute or less, depending on when you notice it, to be ready for a wave. Incredibly important on ruthless to find a good position to fight them or to keep from transitioning to a new area and getting immediately swarmed. Also, transition spots, like closed rooms and elevators, only pause the timer, not reset it. The only time the timer resets, or stops is at the end portion of an operation.
@@timothygaytan3390 dude I thought that's what all that meant I've had people completely ignore me and get wiped by a massive wave we could've avoided if we had either stayed and fought the small wave or started to leave the AO sooner glad you explained this
man they gotta fix the matchmaking for operations. its awful as a solo player. sucks cuz the game is soooo fun but its nearly impossible to get a full lobby of a WHOPPING 3 PLAYERS yet they have no problem getting full 12 player lobbies in pvp
Yeah i think it’s just a weird glitch. I’ve got the Xbox X and I restart my game each time I login or it pushes me to offline mode. I didn’t even notice for a couple of operations then I was like shit lol

I hope this gets attention but if your teammate is dead they will instantly respawn at the end of a major encounter that means when you get on a lift or you have to assemble before going through a door any dead player will instantly respawn
Regarding the toxic miasma bomb things, if heavy activates their shield, they become a mine clearer. They are able to run through automatically destroying it. It’s really useful.
The toxic miasma was a great tip. Didn't know what was going on with that, didn't know my screen turning green was from that either, thought it was an enemy ability of some sort. The Empeor Protects.
Be aware fellow Astartes, there is a pervasive progression bug with operations where, no matyer heo you finagle it to try and force it to save you can still lose your progress. And no, it is not the "playing offline doesnt save progress" bug, but something else entirely
The armor set isn’t bugged, you just unlock pieces in different stages. So once you have unlocked every piece to that stage. You get the whole set unlocked.

Also, if you want mastery points for your weapon perk tree, max out each version of that weapon to get those points. To skip having to level that version, use armory points to instantly max xp that version by hovering over that version in the armory and sprnding the point
6:50 DO NOTE that the Guardian Relic WILL NOT activate automatically if you didn't get downed with a Wound. I scienced it the other day, and you just outright die if you fully bleed out with a Guardian Relic on you. Also, the Bulwark contested health trick can be even better because of another odd perk quirk (probably a bug) that allows the banner area to give contested health every time someone steps back into the radius. I had it happening with the "Inspiration" perk at level 24. Every time we stepped out and back into the radius it refreshed the contested health.
Maybe its me... but in the campaign it felt like the cannon way to play was no helmets... maybe I'm faded but seemed like they were always missing in the cut scenes 😂😂😂 sorry i got sidetracked
I play average until I hit level 20. It's just torture playing with randoms that dont have it together and arent ready to do substantial, they just want to get a carry and get the extra xp. Best way to level up is to do average and learn where the gene seeds are for a map by looking that info up on youtube
Also learn where the guardian relics are and ping for teammates. If they know whay they are doing, they will prevent mortal wounds and get 2 extra incapacitations before having to go on respawn timer
Also spam heavy attack then gun strike on minoris when you have no shields. It is a very good way to get 1 shield back in battle. Can also sprint, melee light and gun strike on minoris for 1 shield.

I like that the mortal wound is tabletop accurate with space Marines only having 2 mortal wounds before they die

Exit to title screen between operations is what im doing and I barely wait any more than for pvp.

Instead of exiting to main menu you can just switch to campaign at the terminal and switch back to operations immediately and it will find players
If the pairing stops, exit to title menu and rejoin, it usually fixes the issue temporarily
I haven't had any issues, make sure NAT type is open on Xbox or Type 1 on PlayStation

It would be nice atleast if your progress even offline could be saved to your character especially when they're having major server issues.

Melta has passives that increase range by 1m, is this equivalent of 1 range stat or how many meters is 1 range stat on melta ?
Random question, how do you fire the grenade launcher that's on certain bolters? Great vid btw
The grenade launcher replaces the zoom. On the controller, you click the right stick to switch back and forth.
