I almost lost my wife and kids being a "bad boy". I was ill tempered, over protective, always stressed about work and a workaholic, I dealt with depression and anxiety so I drank all the time. One day I ruined the best day we ever had. I fucked up bad man. For the first time in my life I'm seeing that seeking help doesn't make me less of a man. Theres that stigma when you're raised old fashioned but that stigma is bullshit. Brantley is one of my idols. When he says in this story of a song she lost her daddy it hit home. Home real hard. Brantley is sober. I am now too. A lot of his music and a few other country artists a lot of people don't even know of and even country rappers have been my therapy while I wait in line for real therapy. I just want to say thank you Brantley for being an inspiration and a guide and a role model to so many! We can still be men and still be bad ass while showing our feelings and being sober! And still be a bad boy while being a good man. Being a good husband and a good father is the most badass thing any bad boy can do.
Keep up the good work. It takes a lot to ask for help.

I was gettin pretty bad. I was at a really dark point in my life and your music helped pull me out. I ride my motorcycle to clear my head insted of trying to drink my worries away. I lost both my parents 4 months apart. My dad passed away from a severe heart attack on 10/24/20 and my mom passed away on 02/24/21 from Covid19. This song reminds me of them cause that's exactly how they were a bad boy and a sweet girl. They were married 57 years. Thank you for the best songs about real life. Another song I love is Hard Days because my dad was the sole provider. Im the oldest of 13 children. My dad had quite a bit of hard working days to support us all. I miss them so much but the great memories pour in when I listen to both songs

Just keep being the best mom I'm sure you are dont talk badly about his father in front of your son and try to move on the best you can. I have experience with my boyfriend who is doing time, who tells me, now that he's clean how much the drug rules the life, and experience with a current drug addict whose wife I met on Facebook and he and I talked on speaker phone while she was in the room. He admitted he hates this life. Just please dont take his actions personally.

Wowww....just found this song. I am a 42 year old woman who was raised super strict, probably why I always fall for the bad boy. But at my age, I like the boy who has a bad side in him, but is done with the life. I found that guy, but my family cut me out over his past about two years ago. This guy loves me like no one ever has. He is loyal, he is a protector, he has done more for me than someone in a past 14 year relationship ever did. I am doing the best right now than I have ever done in life and I am still with him. And because of me, he is doing so much better. Sometimes the bad boy has a backstory that made them that way. It's been years since a song has struck this chord in my heart. I truly cannot even remember the last song, but tunes like this makes me get the sweetest smile on my face and take my breathes a little bit deeper while listening. Brantley has done it again!
This song hits home in more ways than one. I met my husband when I was 16 years old and he was 18. I was in love. We got married at 20 and 21.5 yrs old. We had our first full termed child at 21 and 22.5 yrs old. After our second child, he broke my heart for the first time by cheating. We split, got back together had two more children then he cheated again. I was devastated, heartbroken but stay just to have him crush me a third time. I had it, I was done. It took him losing everything, trust, my heart for him to wake up. I am not saying its been easy. We have overcome so so much but he makes every day better then the last. He does things he never did in the past. He tells me he loves me every day. Kisses me every morning before he leaves for work. He heard this song and said he knew this was our song. He admitted he screwed up so many times and I still stood by him even when he didn't deserve it. He might have done me wrong but I still see that good I saw in him when I was just 16 and he was 18. We have been together for 21 years and he is still my best friend. I still love him and God knows why. As it says His my bad boy.

No he doesn't have a second phone, that I know for sure, considering the account is in my name. We share a bank account, so we know what is spent on what. He is home every work day by 4pm. The man has done wrong but people do change. I thought your way once and used that line on him before "Once a cheater, always a cheater". Sorry you got burned. It takes years to forgive and get over it. If you hold on to that anger of what one person did to you, it turns you into a bitter person and it ruins future relationships.

I love Brantley Gilbert music. He is a really good artist. This song reminds me so much of Me when I was younger. Because I use to hang out with the rough and rowdy crowd all through High School. And I was sure a Bad Boy. I was always in trouble for Fighting and for skipping class. And always getting into something. And I was with this girl through High School. And Her Momma hated Me with a passion. Because I was a Bad Boy and She knew my reputation around school and outside of school. And She didn't want Her Daughter with Me. But Her Daughter still stayed with me regardless of what Her Momma told Her. Because She loved Me. Me and Her were together all through High School and we were High School sweet hearts. And everybody thought that Me and Her would had made it forever and have kids together. Because we were that Goal relationship couple. But She left Me Because I got on drugs real bad after High School and started drinking real bad. And one day She sat Me down and straight up told that She loved Me and cared alot about me. But She told me that She couldn't spend Her life like it was going anymore. So She told Me to pick Drugs and Alcohol or Her. And my dumb self being the prideful person I was back then I chose Drugs and alcohol over the one I loved. And I haven't got over that yet and I'm now 30 years old now.
My mama had a bad boy that passed away when I was 10 from his bad boy ways. I always went after the bad boys, finally found me my own bad boy that had changed his ways. Now I'm looking down the barrel of my own daughter going with a bad boy. Keep 'em coming BG. BTW, said daughter loves "Bottoms Up"...she's only 12. Prayer for her Daddy & I, PLEASE!!!!
