I wanted to arrange “White Christmas” for years, but only now finally got to it!
My goal here was to take advantage of the expressiveness and rich tonal palette of the classical guitar while still keeping the arrangement jazzy and I must say I’m really happy how it turned out - all the dynamic nuances and free tempo really make this song breathe. This is definitely one of my best recordings, where I came closest to my ideal of guitar performance.
