A small tip for the farm to increase the rates a bit is instead of covering the top of the spawner leave one gap above the spawner and then a glass block above it to allow mobs to spawn on top of the spawner but the glass block will cause them to be pushed off down into your farm. in simpler form 1st block spawner 2nd no block 3rd glass block. Hope this helps and btw I am loving the bedrock guide series and just discovered your channel from it keep up the good work! btw you got a new subscriber can't wait for more episodes!!
Great video! I love how you explain the mechanics of "why" you are building as you build and how it works! Two suggestions: add a grindstone to get "bonus" XP" from enchanted drops and add a smelter for the metal weapons and armor. Too bad we cannot recycle all the double chests of leather armor we end up with 😢. Suggestion the smelter segues into fuel farms.
As I am not that great at the game sometimes I would like to see how this works visually. Definitely curious and would like to implement it into my model.

I'm a relative minecraft newbie and watching BlueJay has been very informative! I finally tried the skeleton farm and nailed the trench and bubble elevator.. but I think maybe my landing zone is too far from the spawner? Skeletons arent spawning

if you want some cheap or lesser iron for making minecart with hopper, you can use mud at the drop shoot and a hopper underneath it. I also use it in the trident killer so simple and cheap 15:00
Hey I just built this Farm to the exact spec and I'm having trouble with the skeleton spawning while I'm standing in front of the kill box it looks like I have to get closer to the spawner for them to actually show up anybody know a fix for this?
Last weekend I built the first nether portal in my new world n spawned it right on the edge of a lava flow… 1 block away n I wouldn’t have burned to death before the graphics had even loaded… twice… I thought fire protection 2 leggings would save me long enough to get out… I was wrong
Wouldn't ot be cool to be able to make a bluejay banner? Doesn't even have to be your logo, just a regular bluejay lol Umm why would you use an anvil to repair unenchanted tools? Save the xp and use your player craft menu (the 4 squares when you open inventory) repairs are completely free. Or a grinder.
Obsidian can also be made by having a bucket or 10 Buckets of lava + 2 Buckets of water and 5 dirt or a wall you want the portal to be against. Dig 3 blocks next to each other put water in the left and right spaces to get unlimited water. Pick up water with bucket from middle space. This does not work with lava. But using Chunkbase or knowledge of your seed you need at least 10 buckets of lava or if you are patient you can make a lava farm using 1 buckets of lava 7 iron for a cauldron or 1 from a village, and a DripStone from a Cave. You can place lava, then dirt then DripStone, empty space, then cauldron. (Recommended for furnace fuel) Placing a total of 14 obsidian can make a Nether Portal(can be much larger if wanted). But the corners are not needed. Just 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom with 3 on the left and right side. 4x5 or 2right,space,down3,space, left2,space,up3,space ⭕️⚫️⚫️⭕️ ⚫️⭕️⭕️⚫️ ⚫️⭕️⭕️⚫️ ⚫️⭕️⭕️⚫️ ⭕️⚫️⚫️⭕️ Place Lava buckets in the described places above then a water bucket in those spaces lava was placed to create a proper frame for the nether portal. Use flint and steal to ignite the portal.
If you put a glass block on top of the spawner that should work right? Like in the raid farms you use a glass block to push the pillaged off of the spawning block. Would it need to be 2 blocks up for it to work, if it would even work?
@BlazingKartik yes this is true bit I thought I heard somewhere that blocking the top of the spawner is basically taking a spawning spot away. Let's face it, bedrock needs every spawning spot that it can get!

Worst nether spawn ive ever got was inside a lavafall (waterfall but lava). I died instantly, it crashed my game from generating the nether and dying in the same moment ☠️

The use of fences is really cool! I've always used ice there, but the mobs do often get stuck. Thanks for the tip!

I find myself putting a smelting area where the chest are. This way you can use the bows as fuel and smelt the armor just for more storage space.

I also add a grindstone to disenchant bows and gear before smelting for a little extra xp
Why not just use a hopper? No need for the minecraft with hopper....unless things have changed with 1.20

IIRC, Java requires the 9x9 square and Bedrock uses the diamond for spawners. (Unless that changed?)

You can just place a slab on the spawner to stop the skelis to spawn on the spawner

What do you do about player proximity to the spawner? Mine will not spawn more skeletons until I get closer to the spawner.
