- So we are just getting to Austin Texas for the 2016 summer X Games and I am so excited for this insane week! Not only do i get to attempt to hold a record for most medals in BMX park history but i also have the world premiere for the Vans BMX video that I have a full section in! Flair double whip, frontflip no hander, triple whip, wall to barspin, 720 and some x ups, barspins, tables and turndowns to connect. That is what i would normally expect from Scotty on this track, but since he is so dedicated and comitted because of the Dave Mirra thing, and also him knowing that the Baldock type kids are upping everything, he will probably go next level as well. Can't wait for Scotty's runs, high expectations with a good reason. Go Scotty!!!

wow, when i was a kid Dave Mirra was the only bmx rider i knew, i mean everyone who starts the sport hears of him at some point, then came Ryan Nyquist with his crazy barspin and flip moves, later came Mike Spinner with quad whips and 1080s and Scotty winning every event there was, now we also have Mark Webb a tech god and many others, Daniel Dhers is a beast... but what i wanted to say is its amazing Scotty has caught up to Dave Mirra with his gold medals, i truly wish you the best Scotty and hope you get to tie with Dave, if anyone deserves it then its you, i cant ride bmx as i used to because of injuries but watching your videos i feel like im riding with you and others, Big boy is an inspiration, riding better than i ever will, all your personalities shine through your riding. Latvia will be rooting for you Scotty!!! (sorry about mistakes, not my native language)

LOL I had no idea Scotty was PRO until I watched this video. Previously I've been watching a bunch of these guys other videos because they are talented riders and a bunch of decent grounded youngins that seem to encourage one another rather than ridicule. Earned respect that they don't cuss much(if at all) on video aware that the aspiring youth are looking up to them. I suppose at 46 yrs old I've been out of the loop too long and unfamiliar with todays riders. In my eyes you and the crew have already won the gold off of the bikes.

Wow I didn't realise you were tied with Dave. I stopped BMXing about 10 years ago but he was my inspiration (and still is) since day 1. I hope you achieve this mate. Well deserved. And it's great that you'll dedicate the ride to him. I hope you at least get a medal. Good luck to you and the Big Boy from here in Australia. Hopefully I get to see the X Games live in the USA one day.
