How did we go from a movie originally based in Japanese, with Japanese actors about karate (from Japan) to a movie basically about people from china doing Kung Fu and of course all actors are Asian American and move to America in the movie 😒
No he was not, the Jaden Smith version of Karate Kid is a remake with its own separate story and world. Legends however is a direct sequel to the original Karate Kid films which has Mr Miyagi. At 0:37 you see a photo of the same Mr Miyagi actor from the older Karate Kid films as proof its a continuation.
So far I’m not really feeling this. I grew up on the original movie and thought the first couple of seasons of Cobra Kai ere great (I’ve kept up with CC but it’s a little tired now). I’m not inherently charged up about Jackie Cha’s Mr. Han meeting Daniel San because I don’t care about Mr. Han. Nothing they’ve shown so far leads me to believe that this wound be an interesting union of characters. Cobra Kai was a really creative way to continue Daniel’s story, and won me over immediately even though I didn’t realize I was up for a continuation of his story. Legends looks kind of like a less interesting approach to following up. But time will tell. I’ll definitely give it a chance.
Yes they didn't say it specifically but no. I think sow you need to watch it. But i don't think sow br it looks good and im just glad movie theaters are still hear
I hope this movie does well but the kid already looks like a martial arts expert, of course since he's asian, and there is also no romantic interest that I noticed other than maybe the girl in the subway who looks like his sister and not a girlfriend. Chan and Macchio only seem to be in the movie for star power.
No Johnny Lawrence??

So Jackie was not Myagi in the Jaden Smith one?
