As an American living in Taiwan these 16 years thus far, I hope for the best all around. I hope that President Trump will continue to bolster Taiwan so that the status quo can be maintained. The status quo isn't perfect, but it is not terrible. Except for the near constant threats and intimidation from the other side of the straight. If Taiwan and China could get along for a mutually beneficial relationship, it would be wonderful.

Even overseas Chinese are now enraged to see separatists colluding with foreign powers to sabotage the process of reunification.
