My Dad loved to listen them so anytime I hear them it makes me think of my Dad singing along in unison with them on the TV. Happy times. RIP Dad and the Clancy Bros.
Wonderful! This may be the only concert video of the 4 actual Brothers, apart from other private collections. They were all still in really strong performing shape! Maybe 83-85? Around the time of the CBTM Reunion Tours? Thanks so much for this gem.
@@mikeflanagan825 Hi. You caught me online checking out Bluegrass vids! This is Paddy, Tom, Liam, and Bobby (on Banjo). I think this is around the era of the CBTM big Reunion Tour, which would put it around 1985?? I believe there were some shows Tommy Makem couldn’t make due to scheduling, so this could be one where Bobby filled in. (Or a local, special request one-off?) He also toured with them extensively throughout the 70’s thru 90’s when they were “The Clancy Brothers & Robbie O’Connell”
Or possibly just after the Reunion Tour. At the end of the video, Paddy is autographing a copy of the Reunion album. Perhaps there was a family gathering and the Brothers did this local concert.@@swvacollings290
