    I'm deeply moved by this film. I have no more words as watching it is bringing me to tears.

      Well why don't you get moved by The Becklin.then you will get why it was such a bad idea to close High Royds.some of these people are disgusting love being on camera!

    i was in an acute psychiatric ward at this place in riverside california. (been in there many times before) anyways this hispanic guy was brought in by police, claimed he was healthy and did not belong there. i said something and he got really defensive at me and called me some nasty derogatory things. said do not talk to me lunatic. all i said was something like being a patient in a place like this as a healthy person is no good to your reputation. i jst cannot live pass the stipulation and stigma of being unhealthy.

    ‘If you had your children at home, sometimes you’d send them to follow [the patients] home to make sure they didn’t wander into traffic’
    Omg can you imagine now?! Sending your child out to follow someone from a mental institution. Someone would call Social Services on you!

    I certainly endorse Dr Zigmonds views on mental health problems, particularly the attitude of mental health staff at least in some cases.

    I used to work in storthshall hospital. Late 70s.i worked in the kichine I was only 16 is just left school. It was a very scary place to walk though and walk.them poor people was walking like zombies .most of them shouldn't of been there.

    had everything people want did that includ the smell of urine and people drugged up
