    That's a great business strategy like you said folks go from the rabbitry to the pet store ( unless they already got their supplies). You could also offer a variety of rabbit toys even having some in the rabbit enclosure that the bunnies play with could be a good way to show that the rabbits love the products.

    I'm in Canada, don't think you can ship to me :( . Willow is great to have access to, for rabbits and much more. I think it's great you showing how to help make a rabbitry profitable with giving extra value to customers, helping grow the community.

    I live in Georgia and have that famous Georgia clay. Growing a garden is labor extensive and expensive. Will willows grow in my yard?

    Hello there. I have a question. Just this morning a buck somehow ended up in a cage with 2 does. All three are 12 weeks, siblings. When I went to feed them I saw him mounting one but I did not see a fall out. Removed him asap. Am not sure how long he was in there for. I seen your video about palpate rabbits. Is there a way I can know if they are pregnant sooner? Thank you for your knowledge and time!

    • @TheRabbitryCenter
      @TheRabbitryCenter  Год назад +1

      Ten days is the earliest you could find out. How old are the doe's? If they're at least 14 weeks I'd definitely mark the calendar regardless
      You can start palpating on day 10
      I'd check the runs and cages to prevent it in the future.

    I propagate a lot of plants from cuttings, and I use a trick my grandparents taught me. Willow cuttings take root so easily because willows produce a lot of the hormones needed for root production in plants. You can extract the hormones from the willow by chopping up the young branch tips with new leaf nodes and soaking them in water. You can use the resulting infusion to promote root growth when you're cloning cuttings for your garden. With indeterminate tomatoes you can get more bang for your buck if you clone all those suckers you're pruning.

    Does willow thin the rabbits' blood like it does ours? (This was used pre-aspirin)

    • @TheRabbitryCenter
      @TheRabbitryCenter  Год назад +1

      I haven't heard that before. My rabbits get a branch daily and I've seen nothing but positive results. Thanks for the info.

      You can render willow branches for aspirin also.

    Thanks Mr Bobby for all of your awesome content, just wondering on a bit of a different note, I usually soak my rabbits in salt water for a few days...aka brine, I guess, but is not better to let the carcass go through the stages of rigor mortis for the tenderness on the plate? Thanks Joe

    Awesome video. I really like this idea and it's always great to offer more to the customer. What angle do you have the rebar to the angle iron? It appears to be around 45° maybe. Also on the mounting holes, what size do you drill those out to? Thanks, keep up the great work and the great content. You've helped me learn so much.

    • @TheRabbitryCenter
      @TheRabbitryCenter  Год назад +1

      Angle is approximately 35° rabbits necks are small and you don't want their head to pop out during dispatch holes are about an eighth of an inch. Here's a video that shares more information showing a closer look. ruclips.net/video/MOVnF6jiYaY/видео.htmlsi=6ZKzpU8jgABWqxvC

    Great video Bobby! I am in the process of expanding my rabbit operation and you have shared so many great ideas . I am raising standard mix breed meat rabbits. My rabbits reach processing weight at around ten to twelve weeks. I may try a more specialized breed next year, just because I really enjoy raising rabbits . I really enjoy your channel and always look forward to your next video.
