As a natural-born Capetonian, I have to agree. The food standards are just on a level of its own. Every market, food truck stop, or aunty's kitchen is going to deliver the most unique dining experience you'll ever find for the best value for money in comparison to what you get abroad. Welcome to my home town, I hope you enjoy your stay.
Exactly right, I instantly tasted the difference in quality. Excellent quality here and I appreciate that foods are usually sourced nearby. Thanks so much
I hope you realise white South Africans are not the evil people the world thinks we are. We love all our people here, of all races! There are more of us that get along than argue and bicker! Welcome to our beautiful nation, you are one of us now, a South African❤❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Unfortunately, the economic and social inequality is glaring and you will continue being judged because of that. Until there's economic equality, whites will always be suspect.
The restaurant experience and food in Cape Town is top-notch, that's what I love most when visiting Cape Town. Joburg food is bland shem, but they will never admit that in public 😂😂
Hey 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 can't wait to visit all the markets next month when I visit home. I hope you tried Gatsby, It's 💥. Love from a Capetonian who's currently based in JHB.
Try the Eastern food bazaar in the City centre. It can get packed over weekends so I suggest a weekday visit. Also you're joining us over the festive period this is the time of the year when Capetonians are flooded with tourists so be prepared for lots of people , food, fun and chilling on the beaches ❤
00:37 eyaw! you got Zazie Beets in the vid! 🥳

Oh yeah!!! That IS her❤
South Africa always wins, we eat organic food. I would never ever move from this beautiful country.

Only to Timeout and Mojo so far but I’ll definitely check out the others and get footage, thanks for the recommendations!
While in Stellenbosch, definitely do Spier as well. Old Cape Dutch architecture, big trees, awesome food and a river runs through it.
Welcome to south Africa,cape Town.

I’m in Namibia, so we border South Africa, and we have the best meat. 🥩 😂 come on over
Namibia and south Africa have the same 😅😅 Wattsup no difference
100% I see Namibia or Botswana beef at Woolies, I grab it 😉
Looking forward to it - That is in the plans for sure
I’ll raise you Botswana beef 😏
I'm South African but love my trips to Namibia, a beautiful country and yes I love the meat! 😁
Just about any food is better than american food
Stellenbosch is beating the dog shirrrttt outa this food market.
Food in America can never compete with cape melay.
Now it’s let’s all bash America and Americans time smh. Bro really?
Don't like the fact that many of the cooks are not wearing gloves. Would think twice about buying....
There's more bacteria on gloves than hands...and that comes from a highly qualified nurse who told me that during covid...something to consider 🤔
