Hey, Friends! Welcome back to the channel! We're back with an install of our new Hybrid Racing shifter for the TSX! We weren't too thrilled with the OEM box, so we swapped it out for the new HR shifter and then we all went for a drive. What an improvement in feel and accuracy!

I was going to mention the reverse lockout.
Without it, you can’t bang to 5 or 6.

when b series people start driving 6 speed k series :) I had to change how i shift 4-5-6 coming from a b to a k. but you can lean on the reverse lockout when you shift 4-5 and 5-6. makes the shifts less scary.

Do you think upgrading the detent springs would be overkill?

No, detent springs are a great upgrade! I've done it on other cars before and it helps with good shifter engagement and self centering.

Nope! I have them in my EG and think it’s great. Gear engagement is very direct.

We’ll be a bit more focused on the TSX, but the EG will be going to Mid-O at the end of May, Comp school in June, then Honda Meet in July.
