Wow, watching this made me realize how inexperienced we are as fans. His experience lets him look the situation from a very different perspective and yes, he is right, we don’t need to panic. It’s one game and I believe this team can turn it around.
The entire Miller- Petterson story can be summed up in the old saying "There's two kinds of players ---- guys who show up to play hockey, and hockey players." Petterson is a guy who shows up to play hockey. Miller is a hockey player. Quinn Hughes is a hockey player. So is Connor Garland. When Petterson becomes a hockey player, his entire career will change for the better. But I don't know if he understands what that means.
At this point you do what ever it takes to get the other two Hughes boys and you move on from this debacle. That should be the goal of this franchise moving forward no matter what they do this season.
Jack is made of glass though. You breathe on him wrong and his shoulder dislocated. The talent is there but I don't trust the longevity will be over his career.
