Sir intercooler ko nikal ke diseal se saaf karne ke baad car washing sation par jake uske ander air ka pressure maar sakte hai kya....isliye kyoki jo diseal ander hoga vo bhi bhar aa jaye ga....air pressure safe hai ya nhi..
Sir aapko intercooler saaf kene ke baad use ek side pe tedha kar ke rakh dena sara diesel nikal jaega , agar aapko fir bhi karna hi hai to ek wash petrol se karke , usko thodi der dhoop me rakh dena and sikha lena , taki jab aap lagaoge to engine knock na kare
I was wondering if Diesel will leave a sticky residue in intercooler (since diesel is oily), and eventually, the intercooler will get coated with fine dust & grime over some time, negating any cleaning effect?
Sir i can understand your concern and thought behind it , but any air coming into the intercooler first gets filtered by the air filter element so there is no chance of dust entering the system and this thing is even secondary. Intercooler had engine oil in it which is way more sticky than diesel and don't worry driving it for 15-20 kms diesel will evaporate due to the heat leaving behind a clean and non sticky intercooler veins .

Sir thats the intercooler hoze which goes from turbo to intercooler , as the hoze got loose , you lost all the boost , that why you felt the loss in power , you can place it back and tighten the clip

Maf , egr and intercooler Safari doesn't have a throttle flap , and no diesel car has a throttle flap or body , some are equipped with anti shudder valve

Hey man, my Safari dicor's alternator broke near a village last week. It was a disaster- village mechanic couldn't find a rectifier plate. So we somehow drove home with a recharged battery (zero use of horns, lights,ac,etc). The problem- after the village mechanic re-fit the alternator- the car made a 'psst' sound when revved (when turbo is engaged). And black smoke comes from the exhaust. My local mechanic says it's a 'turbo leak' & will cost atleast 5-6k for bringing a specialist to fix the issue. They can't just fix the leak as we drove 100km with a broken pipe (he says- changing element of turbo required) What do you think? Does repairing turbo leak really cost that much?

I believe this issue wouldn't have gotten serious if i had a spare battery to replace & get home (with the bad alternator)

There is some sounds in the line when ever throttle is pressed.. and if the line from air modulator to Turbo is removed the hissing sound on pressing pedal vanishes ... Already changed one of the air modulator.. Is there related to Air separator ?? The back air from Engine does come with bit smoke

Can be clogged intercooler or clogged EGR cooler but in worst case scenario , it can be turbo as well , oil seals of turbo sometimes fails

Sir most probably the fuel pump is having some problems in picking up the fuel on lower fuel levels , get the tank checked , if it needs cleaning

Sir intercooler ko nikal ke diseal se saaf karne ke baad car washing sation par jake uske ander air ka pressure maar sakte hai kya....isliye kyoki jo diseal ander hoga vo bhi bhar aa jaye ga....air pressure safe hai ya nhi..

I was wondering if Diesel will leave a sticky residue in intercooler (since diesel is oily), and eventually, the intercooler will get coated with fine dust & grime over some time, negating any cleaning effect?
Sir i can understand your concern and thought behind it , but any air coming into the intercooler first gets filtered by the air filter element so there is no chance of dust entering the system and this thing is even secondary.
Intercooler had engine oil in it which is way more sticky than diesel and don't worry driving it for 15-20 kms diesel will evaporate due to the heat leaving behind a clean and non sticky intercooler veins .

Sir thats the intercooler hoze which goes from turbo to intercooler , as the hoze got loose , you lost all the boost , that why you felt the loss in power , you can place it back and tighten the clip

Safari doesn't have a throttle flap , and no diesel car has a throttle flap or body , some are equipped with anti shudder valve

Hey man, my Safari dicor's alternator broke near a village last week. It was a disaster- village mechanic couldn't find a rectifier plate. So we somehow drove home with a recharged battery (zero use of horns, lights,ac,etc).
The problem- after the village mechanic re-fit the alternator- the car made a 'psst' sound when revved (when turbo is engaged). And black smoke comes from the exhaust.
My local mechanic says it's a 'turbo leak' & will cost atleast 5-6k for bringing a specialist to fix the issue. They can't just fix the leak as we drove 100km with a broken pipe (he says- changing element of turbo required)
What do you think? Does repairing turbo leak really cost that much?
Sir that totally depends upon which pipe was broken ! If it was the turbo oil feed line then its serious

There is some sounds in the line when ever throttle is pressed.. and if the line from air modulator to Turbo is removed the hissing sound on pressing pedal vanishes ... Already changed one of the air modulator.. Is there related to Air separator ?? The back air from Engine does come with bit smoke
