that cleanup sure looks easier. I usually export adif>excell>manipulate>generate adif>import --- this is in another logging program. Thanks for these videos Stu.
Thanks for the detailed YT... If I can summarize my understanding..?? . 1. In Log4OM Settings, Set the Sent & Received Confirmation defaults to "NO" for all Online Logs Services you use. 2. Export your entire Logbook to an ADIF file. 3. Upload the above ADIF file manually to any/all of your Online Logs Services you use, i.e LoTW(via TQSL), QRZ, eQSL etc... 4. Now using "QSO Manager" set the "Sent" Confirmations to "YES" for all QSO's in "all" of the Online Logs Services you uploaded to. 5. Now Using "QSL Manager" download confirmations for all QSO's in "all" of the Online Logs Services you uploaded to. >>> You may have to wait for processing between steps 4 & 5 . Is this the essence of the process..?? .
That is pretty much the summary... Once you get things all synced between the online stuff and your log, it's just keeping things up to date. Stu AG6AG
Thanks for this. I was upgrade to the new version of Log4OM and I couldn't get my LOTW to upload when I closed the program. I did the bulk sign and upload with TSQL and marked all the SENT to YES and I think it all works now.
Hi Cam-man, You certainly can re-upload them but I would verify that they are doing dupe checks. I'm pretty sure that QRZ does but not sure about Club Log. One other note, neither QRZ or Club Log offer update downloads like LoTW. Also, Log4OM doesn't track QRZ and Club Log status as they do not offer an download of data updates. EQSL probably would be fine to re-upload as well, but make sure all the sites understand about dupes! Hope that covers it! Stu AG6AG
Well you can't cover everything. I need to evaluate my base stations, HF, VHF and UHF. My VHF/UHF antennas are verticals and mounted above the roof line of the house. Their antenna gain is several dB but only horizontally. At the elevation angle where people are the "gain" is negative. (All the power is going over everybody's head.) I still have to write all that down though. Thanks for the reminder, as well as the suggestions on what should be recorded.
Yes, under the tools menu open the QSL manager. Put in the search criteria you are wanting to change. Click the update box and enter what you want to change globally. Stu AG6AG
Many thanks Stuart, lost a hard-drive and was setting LOTW up again, and was struggling, bad ITU zone. Thanks so much!
Glad to help

Hi Shawn,
Yeah, you can even do things at an SQL level in that screen...

Many thanks Stuart, very informative. Question is it necessary to apply the same procedure that you used for LOTW to eqsl &/or Clublog?

Never Fear! I'm planning on covering base station VHF/UHF and HF in the next video.
