I can relate so hard with what u said at the end of the video. I used to love the song and gameplay of this extreme demon called Napalm. When I played it as my hardest a few months ago, it was fun for a while, but when I started playing from zero and dying to the exact same chokepoint at least 30 times, I really hated playing the level. I actually considered not playing gd anymore because of the stress of defeating the level. I died to the ending 3 times, and I was too far into the level to just drop it. I had to literally force myself to play the level every time I got to play in order to defeat this level. The amount of relief I got when defeating this level was insane. This level turned into one of my favorites to one of my most hated levels in gd. I got nothing against the level though, it’s just how awful my experience was that truly made me hate this level.
Well Falling Up is my only Extreme Demon currently. Genuinely it's really fun and the final dual is not that bad after 2.2. In 2.1/2.0 it was bad if you were on framerates above 60 (verified on 60 so not KrmaL's fault) but in 2.2 physics match 60 even on 240 framerate. It's just people don't put the time to actually learn it properly. I'm surprised Tria even beat it with the way he did the dual.
Honestly I thought I'd hate this level since Krazy's levels are mediocre to me, but I ended up really enjoying it. Though that's probably because the duals only took 15 minutes to fully learn.
Pre-2.2 if you were on 60 the final dual would be consistent (KrmaL verified this on 60) but not framerates above 60. 2.2+ the dual is consistent on all framerates because 2.2 made physics match 60hz. But your way of playing the dual seemed very inconsistent though. 85 death shouldn't happen at all if you play that properly - don't hit only one orb you doofus. Hit all the orbs except the last one (well last two really because one for each icon) and it works every time (make sure to jump after the first orb though). 87 death happens if the top icon lands too far to the left because it hits the left part of the slope that acts like a block. That can easily be avoided with a later jump. The initial release timing for the ship dual is when the ships touch each other (not overlap entirely, just when the bottoms touch) and you want 3 even short clicks through the 91 corridor. I recommend not having the waves cross each other at 95, click before then (most likely in the rainbow is when you'll click). As for 96, enter the gravity portal low down and it works every time. The only death I don't really know the cause of is the 88 green orb death as I never ever had to figure that out as I had gotten it correct from the beginning, the 88 pink orb death can be avoided by just hitting the pink orbs a lil later. 80, 84, 86, & 94 deaths are just regular gameplay. I think I had 5 final dual deaths, only one of them in 2.2 and it was a death that was entirely my fault.
