AMC made a lot of good changes. They also been getting so many good seasonal anime the last 2 seasons they are great

HiDive has Dark Gathering which is the best horror anime in years. It's about a creepy little girl with skull eyes collecting an army of extremely messed up ghosts to rescue her mother's soul. They just got Gushing Over Magical Girls and Chained Soldier, so if you like ecchi those are worth checking out. They actually licensed the uncensored version of Gushing Over Magical Girls which goes further than the original manga. It's currently the best BDSM Yuri Magical Girls anime out there!
I noticed Redo of Healer is TV-MA on Hidive(censored) but 18 +-DSV on blu-ray. I remember someone saying "in that case Game of Thrones should be 18 +-DLSV"
originally I got this service just to watch clannad after story but I saw a bunch of animes I liked on there it’s a good service for $5 a month small selection but very good animes.
I remember using hidive when it was merged with vrv like last year and they had alot of good titles but their catalogue isn’t that big yet a lot of the shows u named I saw when they were with vrv still so it’s pointless to get another service for the same titles i will say picking up danmachi s4 was a win for them though they need more seasonal titles for me to actually consider it even.

For anyone reading this a year later, it seems to me the only reason to have this site is to either watch some really obscure stuff because you're essentially bored, OR to watch their exclusives because some how they got Tensura Slime and Eminence In Shadow which are probably the only actually REALLY good shows on the site (assuming you already watched Made in Abyss prior, because yea that's also a very very very good series). Personally, I just get a month sub whenever Slime/Shadow finish a new release, and dip my toes into the honestly subpar catalogue while I'm there. It's for sure not something you wanna keep running all year like crunchyroll, just get it (or share with friends) when it's necessary.
Hidive is legit I just need an PS4/PS5 app and I'd get it again. But for anyone who has 5 bucks to spare this is a good app

Sometime you just gotta try some for yourself and bot pay attention to the reviews too much. Yeah I’ll say just look on the app to see if there are any anime you want to watch on there and if there are you could do the 14 days free trial

Hidive is nice for its organisation however the lack of download function on the app or ability to lower resolution. Additionally the mobile app doesn't have any account settings it forwards to the website... To do anything...
I appreciate the love for hidive... I don't want it to go like Funimation
I like HiDive but the app sucks. Ever since my membership got paid for the year .. The video will start playing and then after 5 minutes I'll get a code object object then I can't open the app. Anyone else having this issue?
I’ve had a somewhat similar thing happen when I watch seasonal anime I’ll be watching it then out of nowhere a error will happen, but it seems like if I wait until the next day to watch it, it goes back to normal

I mainly got HiDive for eminence in shadow and DanMachi, but there are other shows on there that I enjoy. Dark gathering, Helck, Ragna Crimson, Reincarnated as a sword. There are some pretty cool shows on there.

AMC has been doing great since the purchase. AMC cancelled a lot of licenses on crunchyroll. They have all the gems. I feel like Sony hasn’t played fair. I love HIDIVE. They had so many this season too

@@CommunitySpIash kinda funny how att would have gotten that bleach license but because Sony doesn't wanna pay much for licensing they lost the bid war. Kinda like Sony cutting licenses like hidive licenses. I don't think hidive wanted to pull licenses I think Sony didn't wanna pay. I'm happy Disney went in and is forcing higher licensing costs for rights this helps all the studios. I'm not worried about Disney censorship since we seen what Sony has done recently
I just can’t stand the Interface on HIDIVE it’s repulsive. One of the worse interfaces in existence
God the Crunchyroll app is disgraceful have to reset it every 4 episodes. The UI is garbage, the searching is atrocious, and they don’t have half the shit I’m looking for. On every metric of an entertainment application Crunchyroll fails. It does not function, it isn’t intuitive, it lacks basic features like intro skip, it’s a buggy mess that whoever designed should be ashamed of.
I have it for sum to time ion see nun wrong with its not the best but it still can use imo

Hidive certainly has a better consumer relations / experience but it's various apps are so damn unreliable. They go down for like no reason all the time.

I haven’t really haven’t had that many problems with the mobile app recently, but I’ll say just check it out and see if you have any problems cuz you can look through their catalog and see if there anything you like and there a free trial and you could test that out to see if you have any problems with it

I don’t want to be going around on any freaky pirating sites and although it seems legit, I haven’t heard about it until recently so…a little nervous. If it is indeed safe, you’ll have to make an account and pay via what method?
So HIDIVE is official anime site and it’s legit. It not one of those pirate sites. The way you would pay us by making accounts, if you download it on your phone, like if you have iPhone you can pay that way or the website should have different options on there like cards, PayPal, or whatever other options it has

I'm ignorant. The only show I couldn't watch appeared recently on CR, that's _"Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World"_ and honestly the story-line and character interactions CREEPED me out so bad that CR's INSANE celibacy-windows covering up sexually explicit parts didn't even piss me off - the show just wasn't worth watching. So, I really lack the experience over time to have an opinion.
Maybe something tastefully done on another project, then clumsily obstructed? I could certainly imagine that happening: It just never happened for me.
