Fantastic! Thanks for supporting everything Rover and featuring my Almond 3500S on the P6ROC stand. Gutted I wasn’t about when you filmed. Wishing you well Alex 👏👍
Hi Alex n Remi Nice video from Friday, I was busy getting to sleep as I had tp be up at 4 am to come and see you on the Saturday. So many Rovers, so little time...🙂 Take care, Jon B. 🙂
What an interesting and enjoyable video. Your orange Allegro looks fantastic! What a whole load of wonderful BL, Austin-Rover & Rover cars. While I've always known a Rover 200 from a 400 (both wonderful cars) personally I'm not so good with A30 & A35. How nice to see the walk back to the car-park which is something I've never seen on any other NEC video from any year! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! 😃
I had a great day today and saw some of the cars you picked out in the video. I particularly liked the P4 stand, that lovely blue P6 that was raised at the back with the mirrors, the mecano models, photographed the A30 because i thought it looked stunning, and of course your Allegro which looks great inside and out. Love the photos at the end 😊
Brilliant observation when you said the trapezoid headlamp car (8:30) had a Peugeot look to the front. It eally does! Looks reminiscent of the 504 front.
@Alexsassets i told your other half he's a lucky man your a very clever like my ex she even looks like you ps i cant believe he left you at petrol station lol i thought well your very independent as well 😂🤣
I have a NOS exhaust for an Allegro going begging and, at the garage where I work there's a 23,000 miles Marina 1800 Super that needs a new home and some light restoration work.
Lovely wee allegro alex I have a horrendous oil leak when parked in my 1500 super wintered it till I get a 1750 engine gear box to swap in that s better and dry
Say hello to chris weeden on the marina stand he’s the chairman with the harvest gold coupe great show and some fantastic cars I normally go in March for the weekend
You missed a trick not starting the video with “Hello, it’s Alex, and I’m in Hall 3A”….. 😊 I ‘inadvertantly’ saw Peggy on the stand at the show yesterday when we finally reached that hall after a long trek round everywhere else… another RUclips feature car to tick off along with the Hubnut / Furious Driving / I drive a Classic, Gary Mavers (Classic Car Obsession) Lotus and Porsche, Tom Lenthall’s XJC and Harry Metcalfe’s famous and fabulous Lamborghini Countach, so she’s in good company !

Lovely presenting Alex. We could do with you reading the daily news.
I stayed in the holiday inn Express on site at the NEC years ago during the show, looked again this year it was over 500 quid!

I thought the same thing about the collection of Mercedes sprinter vans in a classic car show
Bit strange isn't it! Like they missed the caravan show last weekend haha

Great video, as always! That cover on the racing Allegro - is that specific? Seems to fit nicely, and have provisions for mirrors?
Yes it is to fit specifically. It came with the car apparently
Hope I get to meet Peggy some day. Gorgeous thing!
Ermmmm aren't you coming tomorrow?
I had a look round Peggy yesterday, she's lovely.
