Hey man! Great video. Quick question. I have a rather wide head and want to get a pair. Of course im kidna hesitant to get the pair with the prescription considering theyre non refundable if they dont fit. However i was wondering, (forgive me if this a little personal) what would you say your head size is and do you think they seem on the wider side? Or are they rather snug. Im concerned that the arms are going to stick out and ill look like a poindexter when theyre on my head lol. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Glad to see that we are having similar experiences. When they work out the kinks and start making some of the nice to have features, these are going to be awesome imo
I did a video last night asking what people want to know about the AI. I don't use AI often in my daily life so I'm not sure what people are interested in.
@@donniedamato id like to know things like, if the ai can answer complicated coding questions or even just general coding/web design stuff. If you can ask it something easy like, "how would I add an image link in html" or stuff like "what is the HEX colour for white". Also math questions like "what is 300 x 26" or "convert 25cm into inches". Stuff like that please.
I like a lot of what I have seen in these glasses, but I would like to see a comparison between these glasses and the Solos Air go 3 (with ChatGPT). And understand what justifies that the G1 cost is about the double of the AirGo 3.
Thanks for the detailed review! I have a question about the transcription feature. If someone selects English as both the input language and the translation language, will it provide live transcription, like captioning? Also, is this feature considered basic, or does it fall under a Pro version? Do users need to pay extra or purchase additional hours after a certain free limit? I’d appreciate any clarification you can provide. Thanks!
@@ullasnn yes it does seem to work like that. In fact, even when set to translate between languages it seems to pickup English. The feature seems to exist in all plans, you'll just be restricted to how much translation you can do depending on the plan. You can purchase additional time in the app.
@@donniedamato Thanks for the quick response! I appreciate the information. By any chance, do you know what the free hours are and how much it costs for additional hours? I tried checking with the Reality team, but unfortunately, their support hasn't been very helpful. I'm planning to purchase, but before doing so, I need to know these things. If you have any insights on how it works or if you could check these details with their support team, that would be incredibly helpful. Thanks a lot!
@@ullasnn the Translate Pro plan is here. support.evenrealities.com/hc/en-us/articles/10509828792463-Translate-Pro-plan I don't know what the limitations are for the Basic plan though. Can't find anything on that.
@@donniedamato Thank you so much for your quick and thorough response! I truly appreciate the clarity and detail you provided-it's more than I received even from Even Realities themselves. Thanks again!
$50 for 10 hours of translation though... That's a bit much even if it worked really really well. We all know they are using an LLM on the backend. It's odd they are not charging for the AI usage and instead are choosing to overcharge for the translation usage. There must be more translation usage compared to AI usage. I'm not going to be surprised when they also start charging for AI usage.
is the even ai assistant forever free? because the translater costs money...very...very much money, will never use translater when its just a cashtrap and worried about even ai assistant will cost money too later. Does the Ai works with the phone locked, screen off?
Not that I know of, but honestly between the microphone and the existing speech to text abilities, I wouldn't be surprised that this could be something added in the future.
Nobody can ever see what you are looking at. But in a certain situation (dark environment), they may see a slight green glow on the lenses when you are looking upwards.
Everything under the notifications section is considered a notification, including your Gmail. So I'm willing to bet that if you have email turned on as well as the Gmail notification, that's why you are getting double notifications.

what's crazy is I've forgot you were wearing them thru-out the video

So can people see what you are looking at head on such that you can wear them in a work environment without drawing attention?
Is this in response to something?
