    This was the perfect recipe. I haven’t eaten Vietnamese pork chops in about 6 years and I made this. It was beyond delicious. My family requests it often. Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

    Absolutely delicious! We cooked outside on the grill. Made a very thin cabbage salad with cucumber along with fragrant Jasmine rice. The addition of the scallion in oil on top was perfection. Thanks so much!! ❤

    what was the point of the cuts on the porkchop?

    • @Babugee9
      @Babugee9 5 месяцев назад

      It's because the pork chops curl up when cooking (the tendons tighten up and pull on the meat). So cutting the chops cuts the tendons so they cook flat / more evenly

    If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese lemongrass pork chop recipe this is not it. I'm Vietnamese and tried these ingredients an the paprika and 5 spice powder turns this into an East Indian flavour taste. If Indian taste is what you're looking for then this is the one.

      @@skythbnchng9159I made it. Tastes nothing like Indian food. Granted, I did not use paprika. But I did use 5 spice.

      5 spice is common in Vietnamese cuisine so seems authentic to me
