no. Its not good for the developing and developed world because China is not a democracy, it has long history of human rights abuses, they are planning to invade Taiwan, they do business with North Korea. So, how can BRI infrastructure projects funded from Blood money from a rogue terror state be good for the developing world.. ?

Ist still super annoying how restrictive it is. My brother had a pocketknife with him and had to throw it away since it's not allowed on the train. Same for any alcohol. It's basically like boarding an Airplane. in other regards its a huge improvement.

As a foreigner, you can buy the train ticket by yourself through the ticketing app or at the train station.
In Vientiane and Luang Prabang you can buy the tickets in city center where they have a branch office.
You should try the business class, which will give you a totally different travel experience.

Spot on, it is indeed more efficient and comfortable than air travel, and possibly much safer too. The Chinese are planning to build another high-speed rail section to link Bangkok with Laos and China. But sadly, the US is doing everything in their power to sabotage the plan.

@@hermesliteratus882 and in Laos there are also many like this, both from Western propaganda and those who have already been brainwashed by this video and wrote in the comments, for example, like - the high-speed railway has led Laos to huge debts to China. This forced Laos to make numerous concessions to China regarding land, forests and natural resources. etc.....this is all Western propaganda, they no longer see what is signed on paper, but just chatter like a parrot...

Last stop was Patouxay. There's no CH sound here. Pa-Tu-Sa-I. Apparently you have arrived at your hotel late in the day 5 or 6pm. They closed the stores and entrance to the monument. Perhaps you could have climbed up to the roof. There's more to Vientiane. There's a street food scene at the morning market but also at the night market at the riverfront. Lots of food and clothes.... Nice vibe there. The rain may dampen that daily event. There's the new building in the background; it's a government building. Next to that on Lane Xang Ave is the Lycee high school where I attended in 1973. Many beautiful buddhist temple like Wat keo which was part of the Palace grounds of the King. It's at the western end of Lane Xang Ave. From there you could have spotted the Patouxay down the avenue. You were not far from the biggest icon of Laos, Wat That Luang, the big golden "stupa". They have like the biggest annual festival with foods and many displays from many countries. When I was there, they had a copy of the lunar lander module and moon rocks! in 1970's. You should ask the locals to say the names for you and properly pronounce the names of those places: Mekong, Vieng Chanh (Vientiane)....

The first and one and only High Speed Railway / Bullet Train in South East Asia is Whoosh Bullet Train in Indonesia. The train speed reach 355kmph. You must try

I love the way Leeann pouts out all the things we take for granted and then tells us what we can do with all the things we are being shown.
Here’s a Chair, you can sit on it. It has an armrest, for your arms. It leans back, so you can nap in it.
And here’s a fork, you can hold it in your hand and stab your food with it, then point it towards your mouth! 😂😂😂😂😂
Let’s see so far I’ve learned about seats, doors and umbrellas today, all thanks to Leeann.
    Thanks Leeann!
Hey Dan, lay off of the history lessons. Learning where to put our arms while sitting down, is so far more informative!🤣🤣🤣

It is not a high-speed train because it only travels at 160 km/hour. In Canada, they have trains over 5000 km distance at 160 km/hour. Canadians do not consider it a high-speed train. Nowadays, to consider a high-speed train, it must have at least 350 km/hour. Today, the high-speed train reaches up to 603 km/h for Japan and 600 km/hour for China. Vietnam and Thailand will soon in the near future get a high-speed train with a speed of 350 km/hour.
