I got a question about neem cake. Is it suitable to be used in indoor potted plants that are not exposed to rainfall. It has nitrification inhibitor in it to slow down the conversion of ammonia to nitrate. Does that mean it will reduce the amount of nitrogen available to the potted plant? Thank you.
Good question dear, You have good knowledge about this thing, but don't complicate things to much. Neem Cake is a pest repellent thing that have some nutrients too, but it's primary use is just to avoid soil pests, fungi etc. so use Only where needed. There are plenty of excellent nutrients enrich Fertilizers that are not nitrification inhibitor. I might have told in the video, that it's not something to be used on regular basis or for every plant. Use where there is a chance of soil pests or fungi, only in a small amount. Hope this thing helps! Happy Gardening 😊
That's a normal thing it happens, but you need to mix the Neem Cake properly, otherwise this thing will happen. Now let the upper layer to dry out a bit & then dig the upsidedown, don't water right away, may be a day after & not to much. Happy Gardening 😊
I enjoyed this video
