A remote fishing village in Iceland. What is the point of watching a movie when so many scenes are so darkly lit that you can’t even see a thing. Has the filmmaker ever heard of proper lighting.
Nevertheless, what a tragic film. It is a truly dark coming of age film. And the kid playing Thor is one of the best child actors I’ve ever seen. Amazing.

This was a very good film. Coming of age story. Shot in Iceland is the perfect and beautiful scenic setting. Very emotional ending, so have lots of kleenex on hand.

A superb film with great acting and great work all around...its very clear to me that this was a labour of love, heartfelt and sincere, and everyone involved should be SO proud of themselves! I do think there is a morality discussion to be had about putting young actors in sexualized situations, but that would be my only quibble.

He tried to kill him self
In the end, Thor realized his mistakes and wanted to make it up to his best friend. Even though he might not share the same feelings for Christian, he realized their friendship was far too important to lose. The arm-hold and forehead kiss meant he acknowledged Christian's sexuality and that it didn't matter to him - they'll always care for one another.
