    This video has actually revolutionised my singing technique. Tensions I've struggled with for years just evaporate when I do this mindfully so I can sing at my best and trust my voice. Thank you!

      Wait for the coming retributive justice much needed paradigm shift. childrens being abused for years before the police are able to catch the agressor because of lack of proof. Even after they speak of about what's going on. In the end, the parents fear criminal charges if they confront the agressor who in turn takes advantage of the presumption of innocence so the child suffer from unnecessary abuses. When pieces of sellout trash or the so-called "elite" finally grow some balls and get rid of the police to give us, the community, the peacekeeping task, morality will rule not the rigid laws anymore. Lets all be law makers, police officers, judge, attorney and lawyer, all at once and give them clueless arrogant idiots a taste of what they are serving to us.....

    So my question is, are you doing two actions or one? In other words, are you timing the "shh" with pulling in the tummy or is the tumming being pulled in naturally by the shh?

      Great question. The whole point is to do one! The belly leads, and the airflow creates the "sh" sound. Make sense?

    I got a question, why do we need to do "shhhh" during breathing exercise?

  • @blackbird45
    @blackbird45 4 года назад

    hello i'm not sure i understand. When you have exhaled the belly deflates, and when you have inhaled it swells yet in the exercise you do the opposite? I'm lost what should my belly do? should I take it in during exhalation and take it out while inhaling. and should I sing or make a sound when exhaling it or when I inhale?

    • @blackbird45
      @blackbird45 4 года назад +1

      have always told me when you inhale the belly swells and when you exhale it deflates, and that I must sing during the exhalation while maintaining a flow of air in the lower abdomen.

      @@blackbird45 I do mean exactly what I say in the video. It's not too different from what you said except there's not really any thing such as "deflating" in the belly. The belly changes shape as the diaphragm presses against it, but only the lungs inflate and deflate. During sound = abdominal muscles drawing in to support the exhalation, and during inhale = allow the belly to release down in response to the diaphragm

    Is this a different breathing method from appoggio or are they one in the same?

    • @VoiceBodyConnection
      @VoiceBodyConnection  Год назад

      Quite different Joseph! Appoggio involves much more tension ... this is focused on freer movement and low belly engagement.
