    he's amazing. he owes heaps to James Tate, but he's amazing.

    I agree with btwatch88. I love the work, but it sort of irritates me that he never mentions Tate.

    Why do people like poets like Dean Young? He has a weak voice.

      Maybe weak voice but his poetry is great

      Reading "The Art of Recklessness: Poetry as Assertive Force and Contradiction" made me a huge fan.

      @@miiketookit A soft reading voice has nothing to do with the voice in the poems. And it might have something to do that not long before this reading he'd had a heart transplant. Pay attention to what matters.
