Seeing one in person was one of the most shocking things ever. This car is the first non-special edition ferrari I've seen that looks like it wants to kick you between the legs

Every engine should be a Ferrari V12, and neds to be experienced. I owned a Daytona once; it was the most satisfying thing I have EVER owned.

I am an Aston fan but a friend let me drive an F12. Omg stunning machine. I got a 812 and its a brutal orchestra, utterly amazing. The PPF removes some high pitched sound, it can be removed. Some say a Porsche 911 is a sports car, its a golf compared to this. Petrol heads heaven
911 is a sports car. 1.8 ton GT is not a sports car. Straight line performance is not a measure of sports cars.

@@hayashishark7378 I owned a 911 and test drove a 991.2. Sound = rubbish. Interior = plasticky and not special. Exterior nice but no sports car. Ride good. Like a Golf R
@@richjohn9356 Weird thoughts, mate. Judging whether a car is a sportscar by it's interior is like judging Rolls Royce by it's limit handling. I think you are mixing up the idea of a sportscar with what marketing calls sportscar. And these buffoons call everything a sportscar these days.

Wow... That's it? Quality work, feels as if cut too short.
The unfortunate thing about that engine, all this power etc etc is that you can't even rev the thing out in 3rd gear without going c 110mph. So what kind of use is a car like this on public roads? Same goes for the modern V8s. People are saying the Pista is boring. Well, yes, it will be on a public road because you just can't use the power it has whatsoever - save for trips to the remotest parts of Scotland.
I think this is why people still hold such a fondness for cars like the 355. You can rev it out in 4th, actually enjoy the process or changing gears, without running out of road or running the risk of being stopped / zapped by the police.
But are people seriously taking V12 Ferraris to the track? You can't use 800bhp anywhere else. It's a shame the UK doesn't have a Nurburgring!

They can but it is such an extensive job it will invalidate he warrantee. I'm sure (hopefuly) a few tuning houses aer working on a solution.

Enjoy it guys. I don't think we'll be seeing a whole lot of new V12s, V10s, or even V8s in the coming decades. I hope I'm totally wrong about that and we keep finding plenty of dinosaur juice along with coming up with a way for the tailpipes to emit emissions that actually clean the environment and smell like lilacs, but I'm guessing we're just going to get ever more stringent mpg requirements, more emissions regulations and gasoline (that's petrol to you crazy Brits) prices getting so high that only the wealthy ever consider driving just for the sake of it. Electric cars aren't even better for the planet in many cases, but that's the way our overlords want it to go, so they'll just pass law after law that will eventually kill off these glorious machines.

...but why isn't this video at least four times longer?
If Ferrari are able to get an N/A V12 to pass all the emissions tests in 2021 that we hear are the reason for the death of N/A engines. Why can't the likes BMW still make an N/A six. Or the hot hatches which once had great big sixes or high revving four cylinders, are all now turbocharged. It's clearly possible to pass the emissions regulations but this constant pursuit of power is the reason for turbocharging.
