Hahaha, the real help will be when you are a CA. You can still help them some things during articles though. But ja CA earnings are a good compensation for the hard work 😊
Candidate attorneys or article clerks in the legal field earn R3500 per month. Of all trainees in all fields.... CA article clerks are ahead. Consider yourself lucky lady. By the way lawyers complete 4 years degree, and 2 year articles and board ewams, I think about 5. After admission they still earn around R6000 per month. At most I've seen R15 000. I know a newly qualified CA can earn R650K per annum.
That's hectic hey. But with candidate attorneys there is a wide gap depending on where you doing your articles. My husband did his articles at a Big 4 law firm, he definitely earned way more than your examples and way more than what I earned during my articles. I do agree with the point you driving home, articles money is article money, we just need to endure.

People registered with ACCA are CAs, similar to people registered with SAICA. You just choose the registration body you prefer, most of the time the decision is driven by where you stay and plan to work
I did CA from pakistan did articles from one of big 4, now got married in belgium and just shifted here. Can you please let me know either i will get equal job opportunity in belgium or have i need to do ACCA? Best regards

It's often but not everyday. Each audit client has it's own deadline, some very tight some not. But you just need to go in knowing that you will be required to put in overtime at certain times 😊

You are not too old to do CA, it's worth it. My last Honours degree was 9 years ago and now I am currently studying for my ACCA at age 35. It requires time and a lot of studying. Is not easy when you work full time, married and with kids. But it's worth it just take your time, do not rush through it. Is never too late to acquire knowledge. Remember some people will be lucky to have their qualifications at a younger age while others will be late in their journey at the end of the day you will get there too and give glory to God for great accomplishment.

Hi dear. Articles salary is the same for everyone in the same firm regardless of experience, varsity or any other differences in candidates. You are all trainees. Those things matter when you are a qualified CA

I'm not sure I understand ito "easy" . There is no short cut. You need that degree, honors, 2 board exam passes and completion of articles to qualify as a CA.
I am a 3rd year financial accounting student in NWU, according to our head of accounting you have to complete financial accounting honours first then go for CA honours 😅 There is no easier way to CA
That is specific to NWU. In other universities where the Accounting degree is SAICA accredited, if you pass the degree with the required marks you do Honours after degree

The CA would have to study another degree, an Actuarial Science degree. The two degrees are not related at all.

SAICA is also recognised internationally. A lot of my peers are working abroad. Either should be good 😊

Big from dlobkjy do 3 years after your CTA/Honours. Small and medium firms still offer the 5 year option with just matric.

You are not too old to do CA, it's worth it. My last Honours degree was 9 years ago and now I am currently studying for my ACCA at age 35. It requires time and a lot of studying. Is not easy when you work full time, married and with kids. But it's worth it just take your time, do not rush through it. Is never too late to acquire knowledge. Remember some people will be lucky to have their qualifications at a younger age while others will be late in their journey at the end of the day you will get there too and give glory to God for great accomplishment.

Hi dear. Articles salary is the same for everyone in the same firm regardless of experience, varsity or any other differences in candidates. You are all trainees. Those things matter when you are a qualified CA

I'm not sure I understand ito "easy" . There is no short cut. You need that degree, honors, 2 board exam passes and completion of articles to qualify as a CA.
I am a 3rd year financial accounting student in NWU, according to our head of accounting you have to complete financial accounting honours first then go for CA honours

That is specific to NWU. In other universities where the Accounting degree is SAICA accredited, if you pass the degree with the required marks you do Honours after degree
