Absolutely love this , you really stated the hush truths about this journey . Gone are the days where information is sugar coated. Those who aspire can make informed decisions .
I’m glad you loved it. Social media has made it easier to transfer information and spread awareness unlike then when information was geared only towards the narrative that they wanted us to know. ❤️
So true, people think CAs earn a lot and it’s not always that much. The small portion of work topics that you’re allocated was the biggest shocker for me.
Yeah CAs do earn better than the average person its just that over time we realise that it’s not as much. 😂the work allocation is just something else, it makes you question the whole system and the struggle we had to go through just to do work that’s a no brainer
I didnt do too well in matric. Ive tried unisa so that i can apply for HC forst then the degree but because of space, they take limited amount of people. Now i think ill try boston city campus who is accredited with SAICA. Is it worth it? Will i be taken seriously
Such a beautiful talk and advice you have given. I enjoyed and loved listening to every bit of it! Thank you soo much! Will definitely subscribe to your channel❤❤❤
Hi sis im a new subscriber i just found your channel. so far im loving it. Can you please make a video about the difference between studying accounting and finance. Im doing my final year in Bcom finance and im not sure if i made a good decision (by not doing accounting). I have done my research but as someone who is in the industry i would like to hear your perspective. If you can one day may you please make a video for us students. Thank you in advance
I enjoy the honesty in this video however i guess the youth must realise you dont just earn alot from the start but there is money as you add on expereince
Hi, hope you are well. Im a grade 10 student and i would like to ask a question. If i want to become a chartered accountant, should i do financial accounting?
Do you mean in university when selecting the course? Where I did it the course was called Bcom Accounting Sciences and one of the modules includes financial accounting. Also even if you didn’t do accounting in high school as long as you have a good score and pure maths, you can be accepted into the course
I worked normal hours besides when it was year end and half year end. But it depends on the company you end up working for, some companies are chilled while some are hectic. But in audit firms hours tend to be longer.
❤Hi dear ..new subbie here ...love your work...I started a RUclips page ... Talking about Parenting issues and creating healthy relationships with your kids...but I have been slowing down...what advice can you give me ....
Thank you 🙏 You need to do 3 things (Research, publish videos as often as you can, even daily if you want faster results, and be patient. 1. Study what other channels in your niche are doing (their topics, thumbnails, how they title) Also find out the topics people are searching for which are underserved and do those videos. 2. Post the right content often and views will pick up. 3. Some topics will be promoted same day by the algorithm while other topics can even take 2 months before their promoted. Just like the video you commented on, I posted it late last year but RUclips is only promoting it to more people now. You can also join my Facebook group “Making a fulltime income on RUclips” or even access my course, some of the chapters are free.
I did my high school in two schools. Gr 8-10 in a private school and my grades were not as great maybe around C (60%). In grade 11 I Moved to a public school close to home and became a top performer getting above 80% in most subjects besides maths which I passed with around 60%.
@@KobeMokgobu-us3db You definitely can… don’t write yourself off. As long as you put in the hard and be willing to learn and adopt different learning style, your grade is irrelevant. Great grades are good at securing bursaries though.
