      Aah man thanks 😊 how I wish I was the 1st but I am pretty sure there has been more before me 😃.
      I only used a tutor once in my undergrad and it was for MAC. I found it on one of those UNISA student groups so it was very informal.

      @@Muzie24 give it a go 1st without a tutor and maybe consider having study groups as well. Later on you can identify which modules you might need assistance with and then get a tutor for those.
      All the best!!

    Hey, I’m currently doing my third year and I would like to start doing my articles but I don’t know where to start.

    • @Entle2
      @Entle2  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hey, why not start by creating a LinkedIn account (if you don’t already have one), make your status open for work and connect with people in the same industry. Have a CV (happy to review it for you)
      2. Go to SAICA website and look for firms in your area and start sending emails.
      3. Look for post on LinkedIn looking for trainees and other platforms such as glass door,indeed, career junction, poet and recruitment agencies.

    Hey, thanks for the video it's very insightful. I wanted to ask if you have qualified as a CA from a small firm, is it possible to get into the big 4 to gain more experience/recognition and how difficult this would be? Do they only employ people who have completed articles at larger firms?

    • @Entle2
      @Entle2  10 месяцев назад +3

      Hey 🙂, I trained with Mazars which is classified as a medium size firm and I currently work for one the big 4 firms in UK.
      I don’t think it’s difficult to get into the big 4 I know quite a few people from small firms currently working for the big 4 so I don’t think it matters to them as long as you can do the job I guess. I hope this answers your question.

    I have my degree(btech CMA) now I got accepted at Unisa to do the CT1 bridgibg programme. So is it wise to start applying for articles?

    • @Entle2
      @Entle2  Год назад

      I mean you can apply for articles now but my advise is finish your studies then start working. Working and studying is not the most desirable thing especially with CTA but it’s doable. If circumstances force you to work or you feel you can do both then sure go for it hey. In my time I wish I could have focused on my studies 1st, life wasn’t great that time and doing both meant I had to sacrifice a lot to balance both.I had to work to support myself and pay for my studies I could have taken a less demanding job I guess but I felt there was no point rather I go for articles.All the best in your studies and articles❤️❤️

    Hey can I do CA with 32 Aps and level 3 in LO?

    • @tinysomo4201
      @tinysomo4201 Год назад +1

      You would qualify for the CA stream at the University of Limpopo If you have Pure Maths and English minimum level 4 with an APS score of 30 excluding L.O.

    • @Entle2
      @Entle2  Год назад +1

      APS differs for each institution and L.O is almost always excluded. UJ for example required 33 APS with L5 for math and L4 for English where as UWC is 30 points.
      You have to look at each university’s point system and subject requirements. All the best!!!
