What are you currently shiny hunting in the Teal Mask?
Just got my feebas outbreak, only had to reset til Sept. 30, so I'm feeling pretty good about that!
My most recent hunt was grubbin I think for my full shiny team but now I think my next hunt might be milotic, gotta catch the loyal three first tho since I just completed the story an hour or so ago

The most hilarious part is you can get this done before ever starting arvens quest line

So, essentially; "Quick! Shut up!" :v
Important Note: The Herba Mystica set does not require that you beat the main game or DLC story. The only requirement is that you have all tablecloths and have started the DLC to the point where you start the Orienteering (basically when you can ride Miraidon/Koraidon in the DLC). So, you can literally get these Herba Mystica after beating the Bug Gym in Paldea if you have the money/LP to buy them.
Kind of makes the whole Arven plot hilarious though. Arven is looking for all them and we have the full set in our bag not even bothering to offer him some.

Just a note: Olive Roll is extremely inconsistent and you’ll probably have to guzzle down mood stabilizers just so it won’t piss you off.

The game mode is legitimately bugged out of its mind. I already beat it in record time, but that’s no excuse for how buggy and frustrating it is.

I got lucky yesterday, I went to a Vulpix outbreak, was about to use a couple of herba mystica to hunt, but then a Shiny Vulpix randomly spawns. So good, Ninetails has one of my favourite shinies, plus I saved my herba mystica 😁
I have only random shinies too by now. Each hunt I did got cancelled because I do not have the patience for it. But when I just run around,them they pop up everywhere

even if you’re not interested in raids, i’d highly recommend making a good raid build for grinding herba. if you focus on the specific raids that have herba drops then you’ll have plenty in no time
Getting shinies in this game is easier that ever , and is not a complain . Some will say that it reduces the value , but now shinies arent so exclusive to the point of that only insane grinders or hacker have them . And the most important thing is ... I FINALLY GOT A SHINY LUCARIO THANKS TO THIS GAME ( well actually I have 2 now , I just really like shiny lucario xD )

I just cheesed it with Koraidon, you can use him to push the olive over the first fence.😂
For those struggling with the last ramp just push the olive in from the side of the basket and it will glitch in

3:12 is the hardest part of the video starts
3:50 is the part I fell the ball many times
4:14 is explaining walking mechanic, but I walked only a little like the video but the ball just fall to another side.
I tried at least 5 hrs so far. I managed to do in my 1 account success but I think it's just lucky.
and then I am doing my second account now it doesn't going to make it.
I need to do 4 accounts and only 1 account already takes me 5 hrs. I don't know how I can complete 4 account. Still need help

Thanks for the info! Let me just say that Olive rolling thing has got to be one of the most GD frustrating things in this game! Lol I got to the point where I just got the olive high enough to go over the tallest gate before even turning that first corner to avoid all that other crap. 😂

@@Shiny_J lol I don't remember, I may have come in just under the wire. Once I got it ove the tall gate I tried to do the same with the basket and just avoided those steps too. So that costs me some time as well.
@@cordifox yeah, it took a good number of tries and a lot of swear words. 😂 just went down a little farther in that alley where you start before trying to get it over the fence so if you yourself go out of the course its okay and you can go right back in. You pretty much just have to try and get it up in the air and get under it, then jump while on your ride mon to get it higher. Sometimes if you start with it right up against the fence and then get on your Pokemon that'll help give it some lift.
I hate the olive game!! My olive got stuck halfway in the ground or the ramp multiple times and sometimes it gets stuck on my bicycle’s head and pushes me backwards! So I have given up for now. My Miraidon is named Bicycle.
Ive just been doing the main 4 5star raids that give herba mysticas (aka Dusknoir, Mandibuzz, Basculegion and Snorlax) and don’t have all table cloths so I didn’t know this was in game but now I can get a few more guaranteed one for shiny hunts let’s go!

I was so pleased when I found this out by myself in my copy. I made it a habit to get all the cosmetics in this game, so it was a nice surprise when I found it.

Oh my god, I thought this was clickbait when I saw the title! I knew about the chair guy, but I didn't realize there was a reward for having him make chairs out of every tablecloth in the game, let along a reward like _this!_ Excellent video, thanks so much!

This is the hardest thing to do in the entire game. I just gave up on the olive roll, too hard
I Tried the olive roll and I accidentally discovered that if you pin the olive to the Red basket long enough you will win the challenge.
Thank god, my luck has been so goddamn bad with these that I have one single Sweet frombefore the DLC and one Sour from during it, and nothing else. All the Mightiest Mark raids, I love Tera raids... And only those 2 Herba Mystica. I've been shiny hunting without it. With these, I can finally boot up my Violet game and hunt there with the Sandwich trick! Thanks so much!
Edit: Just did the Olive roll, I figured out you can bounce the Olive off Koraidon/Miraidons head over the tall fence and skip everything.

Omg! Thank you! This is well worth the short time and relatively small money investment for all that herba. I do a fair amount of raids and I usually try to do at least a level 2 raid power sandwich of each type before doing raids and omg I still do not have nearly enough. Easily still in single digits for each type and I’ve only made one sandwich with herba mystica to try and hunt iron valiant.
Olive roll is by far the most frustrating thing. You made it look so easy. I got to the point where I just said screw this. I tried it like 50 times failed each time.

Olive roll done in 1:38:97. I have no tips. Even walking as slow as possible, sometimes the physics engine just launches the thing like you hit it with the power of Thor of Asgard. 6 attempts in a row I made it to final bump in the final ramp and the olive just rockets full speed to the right when I nudge it and falls to the side, or on one occasion, back over the fence. The only thing that I did happen to notice is that the olive gains momentum additively, so it you even nudge it a tiny bit when it's not fully stopped, then it will act like you hit it full speed every time. But waiting for it to fully stop and settle completely still isn't really an option in a timed challenge, especially when sometimes nudging it just launches the thing for no reason anyway. There's no tips. Just get lucky.
Or exploit the minigame. Like I've read some other comments do. Apparently you can hit it directly over the first fence, and apparently you can use your ride pokemon to glitch it into the basket. I'm sure that would help.
Now this is way better than rebuilding some stupid shrine
Bruh the difficulty of the olive challenge is insane!! The games sloppy mechanics makes this one of the MOST challenging things todo in under 2:30 secs! WTH
So there was one tablecloth I was missing, I’ve only done Olive roll twice, once in violet bug gym and once in scarlet bug gym
I wish there was just a shop to buy the herbas... The raids are just tedious and annoying and I only do them to fill the dex

Think of how random this is? You need to have all possible tablecloths and decide to get the matching chairs.
Funny how the only thing I didn't do in the main game was getting all the sandwich recipes because I hate tryhard tera raids for mysticas. And now I was finally able to do my 100% with this DLC.

Does Weight in Scarlet Violet affect a Pokemon's Size Or Is That Just The Size Statistic?
I have all the table clothes but he is still asking me to see more? I have the B&W + bought all from the stores (I just triple checked) but he is asking for more. Not sure what the issue is
I know I'm missing out on alot of features if I don't do any pokedex completing, it's just not my forte, but knowing there is a tera shard charm for completing the kitikami dex, I am so mixed.
What clothes is your character wearing? Is it in the dlc I don't recognise it

So what's funny is doing the Olive Roll, using Ride mon to get to that first right turn saves you 30+ seconds, and if you are lucky you can somehow launch it with your ride over the fence to the other side, current time doing this was 1:19:40 and that was because I wasted a good 20-30 seconds trying to jump bounce it since I missed that last ramp a bit
Dude exactly the same I tried to bounce it in the basket and wasted some time but accidentally got it over the first wall and skipped everything
I dont know if its a glitch but 6 star basculegion raids are always dropping 3 herbas for me I've done 4 basculegion 6 star raids and gotten 3 herba everytime.
found a bug with the olive roll, I couldn't get it up the ramp and into the basket and I accidently jammed it into the right side of the basket and it counter

I got a shiny bellsprout in the last 10 seconds of my sandwich, probably luckiest shiny ever, other than a full odds rattata I got in fire red
Ironically, I was using the B&W Tablecloth before I saw this. No Olive Roll challenge for me!
Technically it’s not free because, you have to use in game currency to get the free herbs. But I found this a cool side quest.

you can actually just use your ride pokemon to knock the olive over the first wall. beat the challenge in 24.13 seconds

I literally would have never found this as I had no idea about the B&W tablecloth and had already spoken with that guy after buying all picnic accessories months ago thus erasing all further potential usefulness of this guy from my mind.
You make the olive roll look like such a cake walk. On two separate occasions I got the damn ball stuck in the environment lol
I never knew there was a time trial version of the olive game, and for good reason. Playing against GameFreaks idea of a physics engine is the most frustrating thing I've done today. How it is that this ball flies a mile high into the area and lands outside the track when I'm just pushing it forward I'll never understand.
I did not know about this reward from the Olive Roll post-Gym Challenge. Granted, I have not done any of the post-Gym Challenges of this or either the Psychic & Ice-type gyms. Wonder if either one of those give additional rewards as well...
Not sure about the Ice Gym, but the Psychic Gym's challenge can reward you with rarer berries, like the EV-resetting berries
As a professional shiny hunter I can say with 100% certainty that this is not worth it for a few sandwiches, it’s far easier to do a few 6 star raids
I swear to god the olive roll game cheats. That last ramp, I'll literally nudge it gently all the way to the top, and gently push it and it goes flying over the basket. Like, THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS! THAT'S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS!!!
My record time is 25 seconds. I used Koraidon to bounce over the first fence and bounced it into the goal.
