I agree totally with what Simon is saying but if this messaged is aimed at the general public then the legal reqirements of The Pests Act and the obligations put on landowners and occupiers needs to be emphasised. Outside of the rural communities almost no one has even heard of it so there is a fundamental misunderstanding amongst the majority of the UK population of the main reason for culling rabbits. Its public ignorance such as this that enables the anti shooting/hunting/ferreting brigade to successfully peddle their mis-information.
