Super helpful. Was a little concerned for the Phantom taking off and landing so close to power lines but with RTK I guess the chance of hitting them is extremely low?
phantom only has one rtk reciever is not for electromagnetic interference like it works on sysytems that are rtk redundant, m300, m30t have 2 rtk recievers ,this is what you want for electromagnetic interference i think
Your videos are great, I appreciate them. I’ve been working as a consultant in the construction inspection and surveying industry for 22 years in Metro Detroit.
I believe you cannot skimp on processing power for your computer. It is that or a hefty build on AWS EC2, or an expensive subscription with cloud processing. I7 10th or 11th gen., 128 GB, and then good SSD. With that you’ll be good for a number of years, or until you’re successful and money won’t be an issue anymore.
nice job Rami! we've all watched the mapping videos with processing thats been great, could you do any videos from the civil engineering and surveying side how they would use this data for themselves and how we could deliver the data to them.... keep up the good work 👍
Probably because the drone is moving so it doesn’t spend that much time in each photo area to get as good of a fix as a ground unit. It has limited battery life.
I use pix4d with the 4pv2 non RTK and Trimble survey equipment for the GCP’s. As long as you have set GCP’s the job will align with those once you tie the photos together.
Can you do a video of stockpile volume calculation from two surfaces
really appreciate the help
Congrats on making it look so fun and easy. Great video.
Great job @rami tamimi, very insightful for me as I am pursuing masters in geoinformatics. Looking forward to your new videos
Fantastic tutorial. Thanks mate!
amazing great video

Nice job Ram
Great stuff, we use our drone for civil and mining all the time!
Please do one video on hydrographic survey.please
Hey Rami! Where did you study these technologies? In college, right?
Great video! Did you use GNSS base station in this video? or just the rover?
Is RTK and Base Station really so crucial if you only want Elevation Data and Volumes?
Not really, you can fly with a ph4pro, but you need yo set enough control points across the area.
Nice video
Love it
Impressive. Looked like a lot of fun. But who required this and why?
Review the Trimble da2
Very interesting Tammy, could you recomend a laptop to process the pictures in Pix4D ,please, because mi laptop is freeze.

I love your videos. Quick questions, what computer do you use and do you use DroneDeploy?
This is amazing, and so well done. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing it with us.
Nice

Did you use NTRIP for your RTK connection? Didn't see you place your base on a known location.
Rami, very nice good information. Could tell me what Drone did you use. Do pix4D is processing pictures on desktop or their cloud at virtual computer.
How were you managing corrections for the P4 RTK - vis NTRIP or using a PPK workflow?
Hai Rami, very nice video and great info. love all your work . Please do video on how to map using P4 RTK multispectral.
Nice 👍 Very informative Video
Which drone was used in this video
Great video sir, my question is how are you getting your work assignments? Q2. Why so many gcp's if you have the RTK package on your drone?
Probably because the drone is moving so it doesn’t spend that much time in each photo area to get as good of a fix as a ground unit. It has limited battery life.
Great work Tami!
If you don't mind me asking, what is the specification of the drone ?
phantom 4 RTK
You are doing great work how I connect with you
Em um país onde as coisas funcionam, tudo facilita para os profissionais e para o desenvolvimento do mesmo.
question about the RTK, don't you need a base station for it "work"
base stations are to improve accuracy of the job
you do, but a government can set up an NTRIP service with base stations to connect to via the internet.
GCPs can provide some help and some of that GCP data can be post processed with the government positioning relays?
Not possible to do this with the 4 Pro V2.0 I’m guessing?

could you surveyed a landfill with a drone and a iphone 14 pro max lidar, without the gnss ?
Trimble DA2
Gnss receiver for the Trimble catalyst service
This instrument can work for the land survey in India.
Beats Kelsh plotters & transit stadia from my olden days.
Where's your visual observer? 👀
Don’t need one since I could see the drone at all times.
@@RamiTamimi Regulations are different in Canada. We are required to have a visual observer on every flight.
Nice work Sir.
Where you from Sir.?
Ola, muito bom o vídeo!!! Gostaria de saber se você usa a base móvel da DJI? Você tem vídeo usando a base?
nice. no need for using big and expensive drones with expensive lidars
