Typical temperature during the summer is 115+ and it’s a little cooler than that so that’s shot right out of the water.

You do realize they are talking about other places right? You can literally look and see that heat records are being broken over and over and over again every summer getting just a bit hotter..
I don't want a "recap" or sensationalism over normal summer weather. I want to know what my day/week will look like, so I can plan for it. Stay on point, or find another profession.

100,000 years ago, up to 13,000, the Earth was in a glacial period. SO this means nothing. The period before that - the interglacial period - was 2 degrees warmer than the Holocene on average (115,000 years ago). So stop WORRYING.
