My fantastic lost East end I was born at the Royal London and grew up in poplar I was so proud of where I came from. Sadly I can't say that anymore true cockney people are a dying breed so sad but these photos can at least send u back down memory lane. Thanks for the upload 😀
Hi Larry, I've recently discovered your channel and thoroughly enjoyed seeing all those wonderful photos of the East End of London that I love. I lived in East Ham until I was 19yrs old. The cherry on the cake was seeing the photo of my school Raines Foundation in Arbour Square,Stepney. Thank you so much for these wonderful archives.

Recognised some of those pictures at once. I lived in Stepney from 1955 to 1990 and will always look back on those days fondly
