Honestly with the vibe I want idk if I necessarily want "feminine" clothing but it's definitely hard to start building that side of your wardrobe. I'm a tad over a year in and while I've gotten various comments from other queer/cis friends who say I look fem/pass or whatever I still boymode lol. Can't bring myself to buy fem clothes. Have a cis friend who is unloading all of her old clothes to me so at least that's a start.
@@polarwaterprincess I know! Ngl early in transition I've been told that apparently goth aesthetic really suits me so I've been aiming for a soft punk/goth look. I already had a more punk oriented wardrobe pre-transition so luckily most of my clothes can stay.

Don't worry about what you think your style should be or whether it's too femme or masc, just try clothes on (when you are in a good mood) and see how yolu feel and how good friends feel how the work for yolu.
@@polarwaterprincess I hope you will find the way of happiness. Because you are on a way of a giant lonelyness. Noone will stay if your image don't reflect something attractive. No man will stay with a sterile woman, just for sex and fun not for something really serious. Good luck.
I have a trans friend who needs it so when I cycle through my clothes she’s typically the first to get my old clothes. I will make her journey less expensive than mine.
I remember a video from you talking about how you aren't passing, but honestly, I think you just need to give it time. I also made a comment that you don't need to pass to be pretty which I stand by. But I think you are pulling off both just wonderfully. I'm a baby trans (almost 1 month HRT, been socially out for like 7 months or so) Watching you gives me so much hope for my own results. You are seriously killing it! Much love, and thanks for being someone to look up to.
Although thrift shops are great places to start (they are usually somewhat private) you'll eventually gain enough confidence to start shopping at department and clothing stores. One of the best places to shop is the internet. Places like Shein and Amazon. PS, Amazon also has a great selection of breast forms and padded briefs..etc..everything you'll need for your feminization journey.
I hope you don’t mind the specific attention (I'm uncomfortable with my voice more times than not) but I really love yours. Even if you're working on feminizing it, the natural speaking tone you have is so rich and expressive. I guess I'm looking for any representation I can get as a trans girl with a shaky and quiet trained voice that really exemplifies the whole 'second puberty' thing, even without hormones...
I just love the way you present yourself in such a natural and comfortable manner. You are adorable as you are and I’m so glad to see that you haven’t gone the way of surgeries, hyper-feminization and voice modification, not that there’s anything wrong with that. I’m a straight man and find you so attractive as you are. Keep up the great work you’re doing 🥰
*Gag* I hate the mens section, and the worst part is I’m a trans teen who just wants to shop completely in the women’s section, however, my mom is like “you can look at shirts in the women’s section, but I don’t want you shopping for girl’s pants” so she makes me continue shopping in the men’s section for pants, and I just hate how baggy they feel on me and my mom “YOU WON’T LIKE GIRL PANTS, I’M NOT GETTING GIRL PANTS FOR YOU, THEY’RE TOO TIGHT FOR YOU!!!” And then I also get this “DON’T JUST CLOSE YOURSELF OFF TO THE WOMEN’S SECTION, YOU MIGHT FIND SOMETHING IN THE MEN’S SECTION YOU LIKE TOO!!!” I’ve been closed off to the men’s section for 15 years, I think everyone can live with me closing myself off to the women’s section, seriously, also, why do women’s clothes have to be SOOOOO expensive, I hate that they charge so much for women’s clothes
Try Shein and Romwe, they're online stores that have great prices on women's clothes and accessories. Unfortunately they both require debit/credit cards to pay with.
I found a lot of great clothes at Burlington. And also Savers, Goodwill, and mom and pop thrift stores have low key the best items. It's a slow process piecing together stuff for sure.
Hello hun thank you very much for this lovely beautiful video sending you a big hug I love your beautiful outfit it's lovely I love your fishnet stockings 💖🫶🏼🫶🏼
It's interesting how different people's transitions can be. I agree with most of what you say, and I'm also a trans woman, but I'm just not that feminine. I have some nice dresses, but I still even wear some of my old "man" clothes! Clothes are clothes and anyone can wear what they want. My wife (a cis woman) often wears male clothing. When I started, I didn't buy much online; it was mainly whatever was on sale at the local supermarket. There aren't many charity stores around locally. Most of those don't even fit me anymore - I have boobs now which I didn't have when I started! I was also finding my style, and many of the "experimental" early purchases were things that I wouldn't wear now even if they did fit me. I think many trans people (me included) go through a sort of "S" curve. Start off moderately masculine; try and be hyper-masculine and fail at it; start transition; try and be hyper feminine and then find it doesn't really fit either; then settle down somewhere in the middle, but more on the feminine side. (Switch 'masculine' and 'feminine' as appropriate.) The weird thing is that it's harder to find clothes that I like now, even though the women's section is so much larger than the men's section! Occasionally I will look in the men's - they're all clothes and clothes themselves are genderless. It took me a while to be comfortable shopping in the women's section, then it took a while to regain the comfort of shopping in the men's section, weirdly - now I'm good with every bit of it. I kind of think of myself as close to being enby (I even describe myself as a non-binary trans woman because I seem to fit both labels - perhaps trans-feminine enby would be a better descriptor, but it's something I try not to worry about).
Getting really comfortable lounge wear that fits you and looks good, that is such a good point. You need to be you even when and especially when you're all by your lonesome, and that is easier when you're comfortable. I'm going to take that advice to heart. But when you do dress up, it must be nice to do that with friends. By friends do you mean trans girls or are you able to do this with cis women and go out? Unfortunately I haven't had either experience yet.
When I was in my early days and I had some spare money I bought this very beautiful but very expensive dress. Unfortunately it didn't look on me like it did on the model. So I actually never wore it once and donated it 2 years ago. Let's hope it did make a poor girl very happy

Well, "mens section" could be potentially bigger once boys stop being afraid of wearing skirts (and then maybe dresses). I started exchanging trousers with skirts around half a year ago and I only wish I've done it earlier - complete gamechanger for my attire. While I don't find the right "shelf" for my case (just a guy wearing skirts / tights, too lazy to be crossdresser + I still like my little goatee beard) and I'm a bit lucky with my weight, skirts were a really universal clothing 2k years ago amongst men and there's no reason to not be like that again. I sometimes feel like I could throw out 90% of stuff I was wearing before that "day 0" so I think I get your point when you talk about going through closet full of stuff you're not gonna wear again.
i am pro trans but what is this styled like my cultures and how we grew up ? Seeems like we are being made fashion by generations who didn't grow up in Our Cultures ?
