After listening to all 3 of the Sugarcubes albums several times over, I've decided this is my favorite song of theirs. The sincerity in Bjork's vocals, as well as the great musicianship, really set this one apart for me.

Sitting in my 1986 Chevy Cavalier in the driveway at night, looking out at the beautiful back yard and woods under the moonlight behind the house I grew up in, Brighton Michigan. This song had such a magical quality to it, and I especially loved the little tick tock wooden sound of the percussion after the lyrics "there is a hole and there is a stick....." I got dumped by my first serious boyfriend with the Golden Girls theme song playing on TV in my parents' living room. So everytime I hear that song, it makes me so sad 😂
The theme of the constant 16th flow in the hands and breaking that up between the hats and snare then voiced around the kit as necessary is absolute genius!!! Been using this track in lessons and as transcription projects forever! Lots to learn from this track on how to play for the song and satisfy your drumming IQ!
