Dear Jacob, Jared, and Adventures with Purpose. Please Help with the ongoing cold case of missing Stacey Petersen missing since 2017. Her sister may have located her remains at the bottom of a canal in Chicago Illinois. But LAW enforcement are not budging to help her. Please help her to bring Stacey home.

She's been missing since 2007, not 2017 but when I saw the sisters footage, I thought of AWP too.
As a rescue trained scuba diver if I was younger now, I'd love to work with Jared and others to dive cars. I have had to hang up my regulator and BCD. I miss diving. You do such a loving and unselfish action for those families are missing loved ones. Don't stop what you are doing. IMO Jared got railroaded.

Missing is missing. Color is irrelevant. I’d search the same for anyone.
It is not irrelevant not if there's more of them than there is a white people so, just stop! People of color are obviously irrelevant to you!

I quit watching as soon as he mentioned that. I’m so sick of everything being made about race these days. Who cares if the person missing is black or white? And I don’t believe that people put less effort into finding missing black people than they do for missing white people. Stop making everything racist!

@@TheBebe666 It has more to do with statistics. One is a tiny part of the national population, yet commits a vast amount of the violent crime. When you mix that with "inner city" culture and "danger", it becomes incredibly difficult for any law enforcement to manage, especially since the law enforcement themselves are likely overwhelmingly part of the same demographic.
As a Chicagoland resident, i always wondered how many bodies are down there in the lake.
Pull up the cars, clean the river and check the trunks. You’ll probably find alot of interesting characters.
Don't forget the mob and gangs use to dump a lot of stolen car in Chicago

I go to Chicago about once a month with my girlfriend, we are always wondering about all of the dumping and accident spots. We always see railings smashed and broken. It’s very interesting actually seeing what’s inside the water.

The vast majority of them were dumped, stolen cars out for joy rides, insurance fraud, etc.

Doug, I wouldn’t be surprised if you find a lot of boats as well. There used to be boat yards all up and down the river before the land got bought up and turned into condos and retail.

This channel started by cleaning up lakes and rivers and it morphed into searching for missing people which is great but I wish you guys would pull out these cars not just for environmental reason but they're less objects that you or other groups will come across when looking for missing people

You should also check it on the Calumet River. It has always been known as a dumping ground for cars,even back in my younger days.
Hardly anyone ever checks that River, that is what makes it popular.
Just a note, I'd leave any & all license plates on the cars that you aren't going to pull out so they can still be identified in the future.

If you're by Ashland Ave it makes sense. The CPD used to have the car pound under I55 near Ashland exit. It used to get broken into all the time. Same for several other junk yards near there. Probably dumped in there by them. Not saying they're not legit accidents or otherwise. You should check the forest preserves too. Tons of sloughs there.

I hope you guys can come to Boston MA and check the Charles river.. there’s been many males who’ve been found throughout the years but what’s bothersome is law enforcement claims there’s never any foul play. Makes me wonder how many people are still unaccounted for in that river. It’s saddening.

It really is pretty stupid that missing people don't have their DL number, plus any associated plates and VINs that can't be accounted for attached to their file. The police could easily gather that info when the report is taken.
For a minute at the start I almost stopped watching because it seemed like it was going to be a preachy session about "systemic racism" but then I thought, you know he is exactly right and we need to talk about it.
You are in Chicago, the last time they had a republican mayor was 1931. 93 years. When was the last time they had a city councilperson that was a republican? I don't know the answer but I bet it has been a long time. And not to mention when was the last time they had a republican majority city council?
What is my point? My point is that if systemic racism is in Chicago, it can't be blamed on anyone but the democrats. Those same ones who run on "being for the little guy", taking guns away from the law abiding and the "right" to kill unborn children. They really don't give a shit about anyone but themselves and there is no better proof of that than the lack of effort put forth by the city of Chicago to investigate missing persons of color.
They will tell you that they "just don't have the money" to actually put forth the effort to look into these things but strangely, they had no trouble coming up with loads of cash to invite illegal immigrants to the city and put them up in hotels and lavish them with cash.
It is time for a change in leadership in Chicago, until that change comes, the people there and everywhere have no one to blame but themselves.

The problem in most of America has NOTHING to do with skin color, but with character and how someone was raised. Those raised into a "Thug" life will continue into that life, whereas those who choose to escape that life can! It's a statistical fact that crime is committed in a higher percent by person's of color, and much of that crime is colored people on colored people crime. Discussion isn't the key... education is!
