    Thank you for this lesson.
    I don’t have a Janome but I think I can transfer this to the machine I have with an stitch regulator

      The ASR will only work on the Janome M17 - it is not a third party add on accessory which would work for different brands of machines.

    Wonderful (as yours always are) but you mentioned the Stitch Lock Button but you didn’t show or say where it is. Sure wish Janome would have put an Index in their manuals, maybe I could have found it there and not bothered you but I don’t know where it is. Thx much!

      The Auto-lock button (I call it something a bit different) looks like a bullseye - it's a circle with a dot in the centre and it is near the thread cutting button on the machine. Check page 5 of the Sewing machine manual for the CM17 and it shows the various buttons there.

    ThaThanks for this. Do you know if they are going to make the ASR on the CM7 or 9450?

    • @Chatterboxquilts
      @Chatterboxquilts  11 месяцев назад

      If there will be a stitch regulator for other Janome models (and that's a bit if), it won't be the same as the ASR. This is made specifically for the Janome CM17 and the machine has a plug area in the back which other machines don't have.

    I always like your videos. Will you be making any videos for the new M8? just curious.

    • @Chatterboxquilts
      @Chatterboxquilts  7 месяцев назад

      Not at this moment as I am working with the M17 however videos on the M7 are similar and the M17 has the ASR so that will be the same as for the M8.

    Is the stitch regulator specific to this machine? Do you know if Brother makes one?

    • @Chatterboxquilts
      @Chatterboxquilts  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, the ASR comes with the Janome CM17. I'm not a Brother girl so I don't know if there are any for their machines. The only other company that I am aware of that has a built-in stitch regulator is Bernina with their BSR.

    Is the ASR on the 9480 much the same please?

    • @Chatterboxquilts
      @Chatterboxquilts  10 месяцев назад +1

      I believe that it works the same way. I haven't yet seen a 9480 as my stores are still waiting to get their first ones in October.
