Graham Slacker dear hot milk and, i should've elaborated, you can pick up a blackface amp from that era and their dependable and fairly easy to work on and maintain, i have a 66' champ, and a 67' bassmen, those vox's are temperamental, prone to overheating and are very expensive to work on , when you pay 3500 for a vintage amp and at least half as much to keep it running the idea of a brand new one for the same money , to me , is the better deal , if fender reissued a hand wired blackface amp I'd park my originals in a second, so go ahead and buy the original and see if it doesn't become a money pit
I think it sounds horrible nothing like a real pre cbs 65' and back. Doesn't have the full creamy lows on the low strings and doesn't have that honk in the mids. Doesn't have the clean glassy sound even in the brilliant high channel. I wish i had my 62 , 65 combo, and 64 top boost head still. Can't replicate that vintage tone.
Tom Hamby buy a normal model hand wired, they're just as amazing as well, though I think sweetwater got the review better this time around Though this video had an awesome overdriven ending (no pun)
That amp looks and sounds beautiful
This is a great Amp. I have the regular VOX AC30. I have a VOX VT40X with the 5 button foot switch that give u 8 banks. The VT40X is fun to jam on.
No look inside? Turret board construction? What kind of pots? Tubes? GZ34 rectifier right?
Yes. GZ34
the integrated topboost channel on panel appeared in mid 1963 and not in 1964
$3999? OMG!
Matchless DC30 is only about $3000......
Not to mention, you could get an actual vintage 1964 Vox AC30 for closer to $3000.
Hydra Plory Even for a UK made amp it's a piss take. I hope a few make it into the hands of players that are going to make sweet music with it.
Graham Slacker nooo

Graham Slacker it might have a smaller chance of lighting on fire
Where can I purchase one of these gems? I live in the UK. Vince 🇬🇧
I was hoping he'd channel jump (especially with that many inputs) but I guess not 😕
Siavash Massoudi I use to jump channels on my vox for a warmer sound
Dude! I have "Strong". You rock. When are you going to put something else out?
with $3999 you can even buy the original 1964....

That would be great, but probably have to stick with my AC10C1, (Love it), until i get my printing press fixed to print money. (just joking)
@@trigliderider look for a ac50. A vintage amp a hell of alot cheaper than this!
Where’s the copper panel and vents Cmon Vox
Too much compression from the recording process.
I go for MORGAN AMPS!!!!
