I don't know how I wound up here, but guess im watching a 12 hour vid now 😂Excited to see you're unbiased reaction to RS3, as someone who grew up playing OSRS back in the day and now plays RS3 on and off and has done for a few years 😁
@@HoHhoch Right, but it's a French word. That's like saying the British are correct for pronouncing 'Fillet' as 'Fill-et' when that's just not true. Taking a word from it's native language and changing the pronunciation isn't correct. like when someone says 'Axe' instead of 'ask' it's an incorrect pronunciation/annunciation. Not that there's an inherently big deal about saying a word wrong, the comment was meant in good fun as it seems Waydot took it as well.
I just started a couple weeks ago and my reactions were practically the same as yours coming from osrs lol a lot of it has been very refreshing so far and i'm having fun again
I’ve played on and off for 21 years now and I’m still not 100% sure how rs3 works I just play it like I used to with legacy combat. Really cool channel man I recently started osrs and thought it was so sweet I could get steel (g). Made me wonder what an osrs player would think of rs3, glad I found you!
Welp, much like settled and Tileman got me back into a crippling OSRS addiction, this video finally got me to actually get into RS3 without feeling lost, overwhelmed and guilty The game's very detached from the Runescape I loved, but honestly, it could be worse. I'm not having a bad time and looking forward to giving bossing a try
You play OSRS, as much as people hate on rs3, you're still gonna enjoy it. They're both runescape just different flavors, played both heavily for many years now. Started rs3 when it looked like how old school does now.
I haven't looked at rs3 since divination came out. I got to where I did dailies then logged out. This is kinda nostalgic, but also, holy cow has this game changed a lot. BTW has anyone told you, you kinda sound like the youtuber LGR (LazyGameReviews)?
always hated the stiga OSRS players have for RS3 I've played for 15 or so years too and love them jsut as much as each other for different reasons, hopefully more creators start doing this too
This was awesome, but I feel like you cut it a bit short in the end there ;) Nice coverage of so much, I could never wrap my head around all the daily stuff myself and went back to osrs for now. You put some real work in here man, congrats on the ballin ironman!
I honestly love both games, OSRS for the nostalgia and RS3 for the updated shiny looking version with all the fancy effects. I actually quit the game when they were doing the stuff with EoC and then all that came afterwards due to being unhappy with where the game went, feeling that the game wasn't the same, so I played OSRS when it came out, didn't get too far due to it being very slow but enjoyed it nonetheless. 2 years ago I decided to open RS3 back up to play my character but it was just boring and I felt overwhelmed with all of the new stuff that smacked me in the face all at once, but then it clicked, I abandoned my old account in the nearest Chili's bathroom and made an Ironman, it was the most refreshing feeling starting new on a 'new' game, which I came to love and still play that same IM and I don't regret coming back to RS3 to experience new content, while also chiming into OSRS to try the 'old' new content, both games are great in their light and equally deserve their own chances!
rs3 is really good. Though it is a really dumbed down runescape experience, which is why so many people dont like it. But it has amazing QoL features OSRS doesnt have.
Oh cmn, I played RS like 18y ago (in 5 days it will be full 18y old account) and just recently i returned to log in. Only enjoyed F2P as a kid but as an adult rn I might try buying membership and get a the nostalgia train with RS3. Thanks for the vid! :D

Gonna keep commenting on my thread the more I watch. I enjoy Chaeldars slayer task; good combat levels, decent profits, aggression potion&auto-hotbar = fairly afk-able. Really love getting aberrant spectre tasks(drop table is decent).
It took me 5 hours just to do the last quest to unlock Priffdinas, it was a challenge accepted bet from a friend cuz I had procrastinated for too long 😅
All I’ll say is this in the debate between RS3 and OSRS. Only one of these games is holding up a country’s economy. I think that’s pretty neat. Anyway, thanks for the video. It’s cool to see people playing both versions objectively.
I last played RuneScape 2 in 2011. Your video got me to log on to RS3 and frankly, it wasn’t for me. I had been on OSRS recently and love it but I just can’t do the new style of the game. So I decided to gift all my money and gear that had been sitting for 13 years, over 9 million worth to a medium level player I found at the GE. Maybe that gift will help him continue to want to make memories of his own similar to the memories I made on RS2. :)

As someone who used to hate the idea of rs3 and talked so much shit about it, i can tell you right now i havent gone back to osrs in 3 years and i love rs3 now
I am the very opposite, i originally played rs3, but tried OSRS, never looked back.
I watched this while doing DXP in RS3 after returning after 6 years. Very enjoyable, hope to see more. Trying to get Archeology to 99 because I got kicked out of the max guild on it's release and I got sad as through the video you surpassed my level in it, lol.
Sparked my curiosity, was interesting to watch thank you
I don't know how I wound up here, but guess im watching a 12 hour vid now 😂Excited to see you're unbiased reaction to RS3, as someone who grew up playing OSRS back in the day and now plays RS3 on and off and has done for a few years 😁
The QOL in RS3 is amazing. Wish Osrs had more of them.
OMG this weekend is gonna be 🔥 watching this from the beginning.
Update: 3 hours in... might take a nappy nap soon. Going to no life it
Lol your a legend bro
4 Hours in, love to see more osrs people trying rs3!
+3 Sanity
-2 from pronouncing herbs with a hard h
Both pronunciations are technically correct, it just depends on dialect.
@@HoHhoch not true. It’s a French word and they rarely pronounce h’s if ever
@@tak1145 It's a French word that's used in the English language which DOES pronounce h's.
Made me wonder what an osrs player would think of rs3, glad I found you!
so start this today. thanks Waydot for this. hope to see more from Rs3. im 10min in while playing iron myself. see you in 12h.
Welp, much like settled and Tileman got me back into a crippling OSRS addiction, this video finally got me to actually get into RS3 without feeling lost, overwhelmed and guilty
The game's very detached from the Runescape I loved, but honestly, it could be worse. I'm not having a bad time and looking forward to giving bossing a try
You play OSRS, as much as people hate on rs3, you're still gonna enjoy it. They're both runescape just different flavors, played both heavily for many years now. Started rs3 when it looked like how old school does now.
I love RS3 I used to play OSRS many many years ago.. Started playing RS3 about 3 months ago.. Lovin it!
I haven't looked at rs3 since divination came out. I got to where I did dailies then logged out. This is kinda nostalgic, but also, holy cow has this game changed a lot.
BTW has anyone told you, you kinda sound like the youtuber LGR (LazyGameReviews)?
Really like this videos, really brought some memories from when I first started playing RuneScape 12 years ago
always hated the stiga OSRS players have for RS3 I've played for 15 or so years too and love them jsut as much as each other for different reasons, hopefully more creators start doing this too
i just found you, but damn dude, your voice, is sooooo, relaxing to listen to! Great series :D
It was a good Episode 1 cant wait for episode 2!
I love the series so far, thanks for the vids bro
This was awesome, but I feel like you cut it a bit short in the end there ;)
Nice coverage of so much, I could never wrap my head around all the daily stuff myself and went back to osrs for now.
You put some real work in here man, congrats on the ballin ironman!
Holy hell, I just started playing and I'm clueless. This is an awesome video. Learned so much keep it up my guy.
I zoned out, then heard "Is that Dobby the house elf?" Instant laugh, and subscribe!
Came here to check out RS3 as a newbie to it. Love your video, we pretty much live same life in rs lol. Recently came back and enjoying OSRS currently
a year late to the party but as someone who also played both it never gets old seeing someone do the same
Oh cmn, I played RS like 18y ago (in 5 days it will be full 18y old account) and just recently i returned to log in. Only enjoyed F2P as a kid but as an adult rn I might try buying membership and get a the nostalgia train with RS3. Thanks for the vid! :D
you are one of the funniest runescape players ive ever seen. easily the fastest subscribe ive hit
20:40 I think because we run a little faster and have way more run energy, it feels like the game is smaller
Not to mention the ability to rest right from the get-go. Kinda gotta work for anything similar in os
My brother in Christ, this game seens to be very good, i'm going to start to play it today and use your video as a guide
cheeeeeeeeeeeeers! hahahaha a 12 bhour binge for your series man alright then XD thanks for the highlight real and everything i appricaite it and it sounds like youve gone above and beyond and really kileld it all well played!
I love series like this! Personally I’m an RS3’er, 19 years and counting, I agree that RS3 is PVM based, there’s so much you can do and it can get overwhelming sometimes. You just gotta make a list of what you want to do OR follow the paths in the activity tracker
Gonna keep commenting on my thread the more I watch. I enjoy Chaeldars slayer task; good combat levels, decent profits, aggression potion&auto-hotbar = fairly afk-able. Really love getting aberrant spectre tasks(drop table is decent).
OSRS definitely beats RS3 in the Player-Owned House stuff. I heard a rumor that they lost the source code and thats why they won’t improve it on RS3
It took me 5 hours just to do the last quest to unlock Priffdinas, it was a challenge accepted bet from a friend cuz I had procrastinated for too long 😅
I still don’t utilize Prif enough 😅
7 hours in; I am a very basic bee-yotch. You’ve done more things than I have in 19 years lol
Love this Video! Just got back into RS3 and this was great
All I’ll say is this in the debate between RS3 and OSRS.
Only one of these games is holding up a country’s economy. I think that’s pretty neat.
Anyway, thanks for the video. It’s cool to see people playing both versions objectively.
I literally sat and watching this in 1 sitting while playing Runescape....i don't think i have a problem.
as a very casual rs3 player you did great there were many things here that i had no clue about
Never seen the sceries, but love a good video while grinding on rs3 so thanks for the watch. Liked and subbed.
Day 1: 3 hours 45 mins watched.
PUMPED for tomorrow.
Great series!
Damn! Your a legend bro
I love the Settled reference the the agility bridge
Loved it... Watched the whole 12h series ❤
Legend
i love osrs but i do enjoy RS3 more. i grew up with runescape and its nice to see the game looks the way it does in rs3
